Ron Artest is under criminal investigation on suspicion of animal cruelty.
Honestly, was that sentence even surprising in the least bit? I didn't think so.
If convicted, Artest could face a fine of up to $20,000. Ironically, that's exactly how much cash DeShawn Stevenson just lost to Gilbert Arenas.
It's a small world, after all.
On the upside this could be great material for a new rap album.
If there's anything that sells CDs, it's getting shot and going to jail.
Just ask Fiddy ... then duck.

Erica, please. Like being black and having money makes it OKAY to abuse his dogs? Number two, you say "they would not do this stupid mess if he was not black and did'nt [sic] have money"...have you never seen the show "Animal Cop"? There's a whole show based on the authorities going after people who neglect their pets, usually outdoor dogs. And very seldom are the perpetrators black or rich. So there goes your (ignorant) theory.

This really takes the CAKE!! The main reason is that sometimes "folks" -and most of you know who I am talking about when I say "folks" -get animals because it's cool or cute at the time, but for some DUMB reason do not realize you have to take care of an animal. All it would take is for "folks" to "Just Say No" to getting these poor animals when you know good and dam well you don't have the time, or inclination to provide a good loving home for them. This means not getting a cute puppy at x-mas, and when they get too big you tie them to a tree in the back yard year-round and throw out food and water when you feel like it. You see this (and worst) in too many "hoods" across this nation. If it were only in the "hood" you could just say that some "folks" are ignorant to knowing proper pet care and only repeat what they see/have seen when it comes to caring for pets. But this is a wealthy brother who could afford to pay someone to take care of his dog-thus it is even WORST. It is hateful, mean, and sinful to abuse helpless animals who only want our love, time and affection to be happy. And if you abuse a helpless animal there is no telling what else you are capable of. Just in case anyone is wondering I am a SISTA.
