Ahh, spring is in the air! This means babies are popping and people are hooking up, which could subsequently lead to more babies popping up later in the year.
But let's focus on the now and present.
One of my favorite (although highly unreliable) gossip sites is reporting that a couple of high-profile celebs and athletes are cross-pollinating during this delicious spring hookup season.
First up, Media-TakeOut.com reports Gabrielle Union has reunited with her childhood sweetheart -- New Jersey Nets star Jason Kidd.

Why: Sure, Jason Kidd has that "yeah, I'm good looking, I know I'm good looking and I know you know I'm good looking" vibe to him but he's carrying more luggage than the baggage claim at the airport. The man is going through a nasty divorce with his estranged wife Joumana Kidd, who claims he had extramarital affairs with "several different television reporters," as well as strippers in Arizona, Sacramento, Miami, Dallas and Indiana, a Nets season ticket holder, a Nets employee, and a cheerleader in New Orleans.
Whew! Someone gets around.
Yes, Joumana could be lying, but even then Jason still wouldn't be an ideal catch (especially if you're not into gold digging and what not). Their teenage "Gabby and Jason 4 Eva" love story came crashing down when the NBA-bound Jason dropped Gabby like bombs over

When talking about the breakup, Gabrielle once said, "I started crying, because I thought I was going to be Mrs. Jason Kidd."
Ummm ... being Mrs. Jason Kidd doesn't look like a whole lotta fun, unless you've always wanted your life to play out like a bad Lifetime movie.
What Could Make Him an Upgrade?
Gabby knows all about relationships with ballers, she married (and divorced in '05) NFL player Chris Howard. So maybe she can handle Mr. Kidd and tell him to "bring it."
OK, I'll admit that last sentence was a blatant (and horrible) attempt to slide in a reference to Gabrielle's cheerleading movie "Bring It On" and a YouTube Clip. (What can I say? I liked the movie. Please don't hurt me.)

If Gabrielle Union wants to date a guy who's wife reported him for spousal abuse a while back, then let her 'bring it on'. As well as dating a guy who dumped her years ago. I don't think Gabrielle Union has much sense when it comes to dating guys, apparently. 'All beauty and no brains'. If she gets involved with Jason Kidd, with his history and track record, then she deserves whatever he 'brings' to her. I personally think she can do better, and stop being 'desperate' for a man. She'll learn, be sorry later, then expect everyone to feel sorry for her when she tells how bad the relationship with her "Mr. Jason Kidd" turned out to be. But go ahead, Ms. Union. Make a fool of yourself.

First off you can't believe everything you read and hear in the news regarding celebrities or anything else for that matter (politics especially). Nevertheless, I am a strong believer in sometimes we are in a relationship with a person and we are just not meant to be at that point in time...but after we live and learn more about life, fate may bring us back together with that person because now we are good for each other. You never know this may be one of those cases. Then again maybe he needs a real friend right now and because they were childhood sweethearts, maybe they always remained cool and they are just hanging out.
However, I do thing Gab would be a fool to start anything with Kidd right about now, just for the simple fact he is still going through a divorce and things in that relationship are unsettled. No one should ever start a new relationship with old baggage...So for Gabs sake, I'm hoping that she is just being a good friend right now to Mr. Kidd.

She's an intelligent and beautiful person inside and out. She shouldn't waste her time going backwards to get misused. After all he's done to his wife, abuse & cheating, she should NOT bring it on with him.

ms union with out a doubt is at the very top of her game, no one could do it better, i've viewed all of her movies, her smile truly makes my day, i wish her well and somewhere their is a real man that will love her for who she is and for no other reason. she is a smart young lady that i hope will make the right choices in her private like. the part she played in the brothers, was great, she could smile and make any old man life a little better.

Hummmmmmmmm....could it be because yours is going in the same direction. You already know that most of them just jump in and out of bed with each other for the hell of it and the money. It's really sad because most of them are unhappy not only with the one they with but themselves.

i think if gab wants to be a friend to mr. kidd let her be, but if hes all that what people have been saying about his past relationship. ms gab should hold off on tryin g to get into a relationship with mr kidd at this time but you never know things could change with mr kidd later on down the road maybe he could be worth someones time..

yeah i agree jason kidd don't even look like her type.....and what's the deal with her and the ex-husband that marriage didnt last long..and i must agree jason has a lot of baggage.. clean up your divorce first before you get into a new relationshp.
