No one really knows what was going through her head at that time... Remember her husband did her wrong the person that is suppose to love you for life..and it sounds like she was really depressed ,dont judge if youre not in her shoes .... celebs. are human too.I am happy she pulled through that horrible time in her life

Low self esteem comes in all shapes, sizes and facial features. You can look like the average woman and men don't treat you right...or you can look like Halle Berry and men still won't treat you right. But the bottomline is, it's all about how you treat yourself and also how you "allow" others to continue to treat you. Women who believe the myth that being beautiful guarantees a fairytale life, need to rethink that falsehood.

That is very old news. Halle discussed that YEARS ago. She said she thought about her mother and the pain her mom would go thru if she ( Halle) did herself in. That stopped her. The rabidly racist press is to blame for them breaking up. Racists will learn that God views black peoples' marriages as sacred as white ones. What God has joined together let NO man try to rip asunder! When Halle was on location for Solomon and Sheba, a racist "journalist" who heard her costar merely say he was protective of her, crazily "suggested" she "mustve" been intimate with him!! David can read. The rabid racist press then spewed pictures of strippers coming out of the woodwork to leap onto David's car after a game. Halle was upset. The press started out attacking black marriages that way ( see Whitney and Bobby) while puffing up and fawning over the marriages of people like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston ( which failed without constantly negative press) and Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe ( which failed without constantly negative press). But you cannot compartmentalize evil. And pretty soon the rabidly racist press was eating it's own. Poor Britney Spears, anyone? Btw, in an aside, please, Please, PLEASE vote for Laila Ali on DANCING WITH THE STARS! Muhammed Ali's daughter is the most graceful of women, technically brilliant, and personable. I meant to add to my comment about Halle that she is NOT stupid. Halle was an honors graduate and editor of her school paper. She even said for YEARS that she would never appear nude in a movie. One evil white talk show host had another actress ( of another race) call in and angrily ATTACK Halle for merely being modest and good! I HATE that Halle, after several YEARS of being in corrupt Hollywood, went back on her original ( CORRECT) thoughts AGAINST appearing nude.

There are two sides to every story. Halle has made her way through several men, so I don't believe that it's all the man's fault. I wonder why she decides to share her personal experience WHEN she's about to release a movie. I think it's just to start a buzz. Yes, she did sell out when it came to the almighty dollar vs nudity. Such is life. I think she's a a ball of contradictions. I used that word because I didn't want to come right out and call her a liar. Some people like to be viewed as the victim. She seems like one of those people. It almost seems like she may be bi-polar, but that's just my opinion, and I only watch her behavior not her movies. Unless they come on tv.
