When talking about the
Jiggaboos? Wow. I guess we're giving the N-word a break these days.
So, if you're keeping score, within less than a minute a group of black women were called nappy-headed, hos, and jiggaboos. And it wasn't in a rap song, KKK rally, Neo-Nazi party or in a confessional booth with Rush Limbaugh.
Some people might find these statements, um, somewhat offensive, but Imus said people should relax and not worry about "some idiot comment meant to be amusing."

IMUS = I'ManUGLY SONOFABITCH I USUALLY DON'T LET MYSELF GET UP TIGHT ABOUT THESE THINGS.BUT I THINK HE WENT TO FAR AND SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.NBC SHOULD SUSPEND HIM FOR 2 WEEKS/1 MONTH WITH HIS PAY GOING TO RUTGERS WOMANS B-BALL TEAM.AND OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET HE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WHOLE TEAM TO GET THIER HAIR DONE.

Will you also stop buying the hip hop and rap music and watching the music videos and films that denigrate black women in ways that portray us as hos? The day we stop disrespecting black women in our music, language, films, videos, and for that matter, the day we stop disrespecting our entire black race for whites to have ammunition to use against us will be the day whites will have less to say about us that we find offensive. Write lyrics that portray black women as beautiful queens, loving mothers, intelligent and powerful professionals. Produce videos and films that portray black women as graceful, feminine, and worthy of respect. The near naked presentation of black women gyrating sexually on the screen and the claims by our black men that black women are only hos to be used sexually, like we are merely animals is a disgrace that should be stopped immediately. Why jump on Imus today when, in the past 30 years of hip hop and rap, you have not jumped on the white corporations that produce and sell music and videos that are doing the same thing? And you are buying it. It's hypocritcal to say the least.
