Michael Vick's name has stuck in the news this offseason, and rarely for something positive.
Today won't be any different.
Police searched a property owned by the Falcons quarterback on Wednesday and found several neglected dogs.
In defense of Vick, he's apparently rarely at the property and his nephew is the primary occupant.
So Vick's of the hook, right? Not so fast:
Just out of curiosity, is this something the NFL commish would consider an "embarrassment" to the league?

Why is this newsworthy, people neglect animals everyday, here in Orlando, a woman had 100 or so dogs and cats on her property, some of them were found dead, yet all she received was a day of jail time and the animals were taken into a shelter end of story.

The press always dipping in somebody else shit! Dog fighting ain't nothing new nor animal abuse or neglect. They have a TV show about it. And yall get on these computers disrespecting each other about other peoples lives that the press blew up. Alot of us do dumb things its just that we don't have thousands of dollar thats why the world don't hear about it. Go pray for the evils of this world and stop pointing fingers because God is on his way and you should not be thinking of no one else life but your own!

What's the big deal, is it because of his celebrity status that this is in the media? People mistreat animals everyday and we don't hear about it in the news. If the nephew lives in the house he should be the one being questioned and in the news, leave MV alone with his millions and get a life!!!

PLEASE! Put this man where he belongs ... IN JAIL! Anyone who has animals that are neglected ... anyone who uses animals for fighting, deserves to be in JAIL ... NOT a highly paid professional, ANYTHING! LOCK HIM UP! ;O(

Yes he should be held accountable. Your dog should be treated with humanity. Those are his dogs and his responsibility to make sure when he is away that they are properly cared for. You can also put them in a reputable boarding facilty. I have a shih tzu and a pit bull who are not with me at this time but my mother is taking excellent care of them. I call every day to check on them and I also fly home once a month to check on them until we are reunited permanently which will be next month.

PETA is aggravating as hell, if they spent more time looking for and helping children that are starving in this country, I would support the cause. And they claim to be civil... how does throwing paint on someone because they are wearing fur civil? They are hyppocrites in the highest form. As much as I love my pets (and HELL NO they do not sleep in the house), I thing PETA is full of SH*T. I think the federal authorities should look into bringing charges against that group.
