The Raiders have selected LSU's JaMarcus Russell to be the savior of their franchise. In a nutshell Russell can throw the football 80 yards down the field and, at 6-foot-6, 263-pounds, is big enough to be his own blocker. An asset that will prove to be invaluable as the new quarterback for the Oakland Raiders.

So now that's he's gone from being a broke college kid to filthy stinkin' rich, what will he do? What will he buy? Who will he screw?

Update: Raiders have agreed to trade Randy Moss to the Patriots. Of course, now that the Raiders have a quarterback, it only makes sense to get rid of their wide receiver.

It's pretty obvious why the headline is what it is. If you have to ask why or insinuate that the writer has no idea what he's talking about then YOU are the dummy.

My Raider's Cap is still sitting here getting dusty,but I've been Living here in San Diego for 4yrs. LaDainian Tomlinson sure creates plenty of excitement. I sure hope JaMarcus can do the same thing for The Raiders Go Raiders. I'm trying to hold out on buying that Chargers Cap.

i expected a story about a new football player being hauled into court for paternity or something..then i read about him being picked in the draft nothing about a baby or a momma....title way off...and your point not made.
