JaMarcus RussellWith the first pick in the 2007 NFL draft, Oakland selects ...

Young Jeezy.

I kid, I kid ... but for real, it was close (take a look, they could be twins).

The Raiders have selected LSU's JaMarcus Russell to be the savior of their franchise. In a nutshell Russell can throw the football 80 yards down the field and, at 6-foot-6, 263-pounds, is big enough to be his own blocker. An asset that will prove to be invaluable as the new quarterback for the Oakland Raiders.

(Bonus, yet irrelevant point: Raiders' black-and-silver will be quite slimming on the Young Russell ... or J-Roc as the fans at Radio City Hall were calling him. Why? I have no clue how one gets J-Roc from JaMarcus. But let me know if you know.)

So now that's he's gone from being a broke college kid to filthy stinkin' rich, what will he do? What will he buy? Who will he screw?

"I ain't got a quarter yet," the top pick said with a laugh.

No word if he'll hide the rest of the yams at his Auntie house.

Update: Raiders have agreed to trade Randy Moss to the Patriots. Of course, now that the Raiders have a quarterback, it only makes sense to get rid of their wide receiver.
