Yes, the clean-cut man you see here is the one and making-it-rain-then-asking-for-the-rain-back only Pacman Jones. The suspended Titans cornerback surrendered and was released on $20,000 bail early Friday on felony charges in a
Clearly, he's taking a page out of Michael Vick's "I'm a new man, honestly" defense playbook.

Did anyone see the movie, "Devil's Advocate?" I feel like there is an all hands on deck for Pacman in this case. Before anyone starts gloating about his guilt or innocence, be sure you know what he has been charged with. Last time I checked, if I enter an establishment, I have a reasonable expectation of security and privacy while in there. I shouldn't be required to provide my own protection or cower in fear of anyone with weapons. Did the establishment provide a proper atmosphere for that of a celebrity? Before you lock up Pacman, what is the role of the establishment in this process? Was there more security at a Circuit City than at a Vegas strip club? I'm just saying, what level of security can anyone expect when carrying that much cash? Did anyone test Pac for GSR? Did he pull the trigger? Did he need more security? I've got questions and I'm not a lawyer. I feel bad for the bouncer, but isn't the club standing behind him? Find the shooter and the case gets stronger.

We must let this Negro Fall!
It's time that we show by "example" amongst our people, that you must be FUNCTIONAL IN SOCIETY.
To many of us think we can LEAVE THE HOOD, and take our HOOD ANTICS with us. This does not work, and it will NEVER WORK.
Pacman Jones is an example of a man who just CANNOT stay out of trouble. It was never explained to him that you CANNOT surround yourself with NEGATIVITY, and have a "don't care attitude" and succeed.
Society will be right there to take you down, which they love to do.
It's time for "stronger minded" Black people, to give these DYSFUNCTIONAL brothers and sisters the keys to being able to NAVIGATE their way through life WITHOUT incident.
Note how he cut his dreads off, many of these artist break down and realize that to be WORLDLY and FUNCTIONAL they have to BLEND. The world is not "JUST BLACK".
Even Ludiacrus gave in to this, he cut his braids off, to be more worldly, because at the end of the day, unless your in an isolated environment, you will blend in and become FUNCTIONAL or FAIL, because that's when you A OPEN MANY DOORS. Many rappers go through this. Even those that eventually give into suits. I love to see it.
Pacman Jones, EVERYWHERE he goes there is shooting or shooting to follow his departure. He's DEEPLY ROOTED in the HOOD, and that will not work.

What we have here is the Obama and Cosby solution to integration. Pacman lost his dreads to show respect for the court. A proud and defiant Black man is guilty when he walks in the door. That's just the way it is. Pacman deserves his day in court. If we could support OJ Simpson, why can't we just have a little love for a man from the Ghetto still trying to get out? Look at the message you are sending to Blacks? You could be telling our talented youth the only way to win is self-hate. Look in the mirror at your argument. Is this real advice from a Black Man? What would Johnnie Cockran say? I can hear him now. It's a travesty of justice to believe that the money the NFL spend on our best athletes buys these men. Once upon a time, this was called "Slavery" and they could cut off Pacman's foot. Pacman needs protection too. If a club can't do it, is that his fault? Maybe I'm wrong, but would Johnnie love to take this case? The answer to our problems isn't silence and compliance. The answer is direct competition to challenge an unchecked monopoly. Gary Sheffield, Terrell Owens, and so many others can't be wrong. How do strong Blacks get respect? They don't vote for Oprah's Boy.

BROTHERS OUGHT TO LEARN HOW TO THINK; THOSE THAT GO AGAINST YOU KNOW HOW!!!! These types of brothers, and there are more than plenty of them are half the reason Blacks have so much trouble...and brothers are ALWAYS in denial about their negative behavior. STOP, GET AN EDUCATION, HAVE SOME MORALS/VALUES AND THINK! The world will be better place....

I'm not going to jump on the "Pacman is guilty" bandwagon until I see all the facts. However, I will note that, in most incidents involving a black male celebrity, he's not the one who caused the problem in the first place. Usually, what happens is one of his boys -- Pookie, Ray-Ray or Li'l Man -- gets into an altercation, then the celebrity jumps in it to help his boy out. So if Pacman's guilty of anything, it's surrounding himself with a bunch of knuckleheads.

if you have never been or born in the hood ,you will always follow the white america definition of what a black man does and does not but if you are internationaly hood born and raised like me,you wil find out that the private schools i went and college or the cadillac i drive still does not stop or make me think twice when i feel i'm being put under coz i was born mean't to stay under so i will forever crush anything and i mean anything that tests my BLACKNESS!so pliz leave pacman alone with negativity coz we are born surrounded by it so pacman, stay proactive and ride for yours coz these vultures will take yo life

I love your opening statement; it allows me to see what type of Black person am dealing with.
No-No-No--Society is not going to go by "Street Rules", and until we understand this as a culture yes we will see a lot of our brothers going to jail, PERIOD.
This is not a "LAWLESS SOCIETY" where society takes into account your GHETTONESS. That's why SOME black people succeed, and some DON'T.
The problem with Black people is that we will support ANYBODY BLACK, and we look ridiculous and conspiring in the process. No I didn't support OJ Simpson.
And there is a difference between ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of a problem and SELF-HATE.
Everywhere Pacman goes TROUBLE FOLLOWS--No this is not normal, and NO society will NEVER except it. So do you think that is something we should tell our THUGGED OUT boys before they leave the HOOD and call themselves being WORLDLY, or just like in Pacman's case just let the UNREFINED NEGRO "Wild Out"
I am part of a NEW WAVE of Progressive Blacks who are realizing that we DON'T need to wear the SHAMEFUL image of our weaker Brothers and Sisters, we are speaking out and being more vocal.
This is not like Slavery or the Civil Rights days where Black people "STUCK TOGETHER", because we ALL had the same plight. No, now with the progression of our society and the fact that ANYBODY can succeed is showing a great contrast between Blacks who can make it in life and Blacks who JUST CAN'T GET IT.
This man is "WILD" this is the 6th time he has been arrested since joining the NFL in 2005. Three incidents stem from going to the club. At one club the bouncer was left PARALAZED.
You stand behind him if you WANT TO--But Progressive Blacks are leaving GHETTO BLACKS in the dust.
P.S. WERE WILLING TO TAKE THE MINDS OF YOUR CHILDREN WITH US IF YOU LET US---DON'T BE SELFISH.

Black athletes with a gang/posses/entourages are on the wrong side of the law to begin with.
Pacman should fined and fired from the NFL!!!
