All-Star Games are one of those concepts that sound great in theory, but in reality tend to be snoozers.
Let's look at them for what they really are: meaningless games played by hot stars trying their hardest not to get injured and ruin their real season.
Oh wait, the MLB All-Star Game actually does counts ... and that's somewhat laughable that an exhibition game can determine home-field advantage in the World Series. But eh, what are you gonna do? Watch Joey Fatone host 'The Singing Bee'?
Probably not.
If anything, watch the All-Star Game to see baseball fans give Barry Bonds some love. The game is in San Francisco, Barry's home turf, so not a lot of that booing stuff happening tonight.
Enjoy.
Maybe the NL will show it actually gives a crap about the All-Star Game. But history suggests probably not.
