Our judicial system operates on the premise that one is innocent until proven guilty, but there's some pretty damming evidence in a detailed, 18-page indictment that suggests Michael Vick was involved in a gruesome dog fighting operation. Is he innocent? Is he guilty as sin? Should the NFL suspend him? Should the Falcons cut him? Should he be allowed to play unless proven guilty? Why would anyone be involved with/pay to see bloody dogs fight to the end? The questions are endless. See what people are saying about Vick and tell us what you think after the jump.

If he is innocent, why doesn't his website have a statement vehemently denying the charges? He owes that to everyone. People who are innocent proclaim it loudly. People who are guilty lie low and hope to fly under the radar. Sorry Vick, won't work. You are history.

I'm not saying Vick is guilty, but it doesn't look good. Supposedly, there are witnesses that can put Vick at the scene of the dogfights, which would kill his argument that he didn't know anything about it. Of course, those people are trying to save their own skin, so take that for what it's worth. And if there is evidence that he organized or was involved in dogfighting events (like buying dogs, taking bets, etc.) then he's going down and he deserves to go down. Now, I'm not a dog lover -- I don't own a dog and probably never will -- but it made me sick to hear that dogs were being electrocuted, drowned or beaten to death after being ripped apart by another dog. And if Vick was involved, he deserves everything he gets. And for those people who claim Vick is being set up by "The Man," please get a grip! Do you seriously expect me to believe that the police and/or the FBI killed all those dogs and planted them on Vick's property? I don't think so.

I read some of these comments about a conspiracy and I laugh. Get REAL!!! Find a better cause to support than a sadistic ass fool who gets his jollies from watching animals tear each other apart. You don't have to be an animal lover to know that it it WRONG!!!! Makes me wonder what goes through the minds of people who support cruelty to anything animals included. Stop jumping on every bandwagon using race as the excuse. What's wrong is wrong! Makes you no better than him or anyone else who supports hurting ANY living thing.

I am not saying he is guilty or innocent, what I am saying is that he was indicted because he ownes the house. CNN and Nancy Grace even stated that it remains to be seen if he was even involved in any of the dog fighting. period. I can't understand how people have already decided that the man is guilty, and there must be some merit behind these reports since the NFL has not taken any action. You know sometimes people can be taken down by the very people that they love and try to help, Question was Michael even living at that particular residence, remeber those initial reports, he wasn't at the house. Let us not judge him without all the evidence which we won't know until he goes to trial.

Ask yourself, what is the typical behavior of someone innocent? Especially in a crime of this degree.
If you where accused tomorrow, of operating a large dogfighting ring, or any other thing for that matter, and people in your community was coming at you in all different directions.
What would you do, you may not want to go into details but you would not just say AM NOT GUILTY. You might say AM NOT GULITY, I could NEVER do such a haness thing.
Instead Vick as said AM NOT GUILTY, and as another blogger put it, is seemingly hoping this will go away somehow, Did he never go home to his house? where he would see the equipment used, or the bloody carpet?
Nice try GHETTO PEOPLE ARE GOING DOWN------And am a Black Sista--------BROTHER

I honestly do not know if he is proven guilty or not. like 50/50 right now. In other side, there is a southern culture's way for having dog fighting. I'm from southern myself and has seen few other than Vick doing dogs fighting. Why it has to be vick, why not other people who do dog fighting too??? The world turn crazy now.. Leave it to God..
