Peace And Love To All,

I just want to say that we need to stop judging Michael Vicks and allow him to get on with his life. If he did this terrible altercation to these animals then he should pay in whatever manner the courts deem necessary. However, he is not the only one who has done this kind of ill treatment to animals and because of his status it propels him further into the limelight. And yes, because of his status he may get away with things normal people can't afford, or his trail may not come to the front. whatever the case, his guilt is his guilt and he will carry this with him until he repents for this, and we need to just leave enough alone. we have homeless on the streets, children being abducted, raped, killed, strung out on drugs, being abused and none of this gets as much air time, news time or conversation time as events such as this. And yes he will lose his appeal, but when and if he pays for his crime let Mr. Vick heal, let him turn his life around. I am sure that he got caught up in a situation as most of us do, whether it be drugs, sex, or any other scandalous situation that we as people may allow ourselves to get involved in; and for whatever the reasons. wrong is wrong and in the end we all pay in some way, whether it be now, or someone in the family, friend, whatever God wills if we do not repent. anyway, I think enough is enough and we should rap about positive things instead of dwelling on such mess as this.

more meat eating hypocrites! You care about dogs "yelping?" Well, pigs and chickens suffer terrible deaths (and lead terrible lives) just to satisfy america's lust for meat - but of course that doesnt matter, does it? People like to see their doggies as surrogate humans, putting little ribbons on them - but with it comes to animals you see as FOOD, its not the same - though it should be! Unless you're a vegetarian or a vegan, you need to shut up about about Michael Vick!
Eating too much meat makes americans fat, lazy, sloppy and unhealthy - look at the health problems it contributes to - diabetes,heart disease, colon/prostate/breast cancer - but do people care? No, overeating meat has to continue, and the slaughter of millions of animals with it!
Its hypocritical (and stupid) in the extreme to whine about michael vick's "cruelty" without looking at the cruelty to animals YOU take part in every time you eat steaks, hamburgers, chicken, etc!
If you see a mouse in your home, are you going to hestitate when it comes to killing it? Of course not! Why not? Its an animal, isnt it?
And on that subject, suppose it had been RATS fighting - suppose there was an underground sport where rats were trained to fight to the death - would any of you michel vick haters care THEN? Most likely, NO!

Innocent until proven guilty? how odd...I do not remember such sentiments being expressed when the Duke lacrosse players wre the ones accued of a crime.

I just wanted to make a comment about the person who was asking what the difference was in shooting a dear and killing a dog. For one thing, most hunters eat what they kill. And it's done as quickly and as humanely as possible. You cant even compare what Vick did to hunting. That's ridiculous. I cant believe someone would actually say there's no difference. Next time he commits a crime such as this...maybe the idiot who made the comment about hunting can eat the dogs. I mean...Since there's no difference.

I cant believe he's going to have to go to jail over a few worthless dogs! Sure he made an error in judgment for associating with his so called friends, but to have his career ended over this? I hope to see Vick play again in the upcoming years and hopefully he will have time to think about what has transpired and live his life more productively. Leave the thug and bad boy image behind and grow up!!

I am a Native American,
yes we killed animals and still do today to eat!!!.
We did'nt play with them and make them fight and kill them slowly or with no compassion kill them, and again we kill and Eat them.
Yes even dogs if we had to, yes even our horse's.
And believe me i know what the white have done.
Making a sport of killing animals for there head's to go on the walls. enslaving us and yes you, but the native american long before any black came to town.
We repected the animals for they where our food.
we try to mantain the great bufflo,elk,deer and other- animals if not been for the white man & yes the blacks .
the (wild) bufflo would still be here.
where do you thank the black soldier got there name bufflo soldier.
