Pacman Jones may be having the most productive NFL suspension ever. First there was his poor attempt at being a pro wrestler (see pics above), now he's trying to take a shot at Jay-Z's crown.
Oh no, say it ain't so, anything but ...
Yes, Pacman Jones is going to try his hand at the rap game, becoming the latest baller-turned-rapper. (Like we haven't seen this a few times before.)
His National Street League Records (the NSL -- sounds familiar, no?), based in Atlanta, announced Wednesday that Jones will team up with producer Spoaty in a duo called Posterboyz.
Mark your calendars for Aug. 27, the day their first single "Let it Shine" drops. The song will talk about big money, cars and jewelry. How original.
Personally, I was looking forward to Pacman showing off his flow on the "Make It Rain" remix (you can never have to much rain), yet I suppose I can settle with a lil' shine instead.
As mentioned before, the National Street League sounds a tad familiar. The National Football League thought so as well, and league officials are currently investigating whether or not the record label's name infringes on the league's trademark, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
Honestly, the NFL should just take it easy because based on the athlete-turned-rappers that came before Pacman ...
This should blow over soon.

at least playing football takes TALENT - being a rapper
takes none at all!Maybe if he controls himself they'll let him go back to doing what he's good at! Who needs another illiterate untalented "rapper" clogging the airwaves with garbage?

From football player to ex-con to pro wrestler to rapper. That's quite interesting(not in a good way).

Being a rap star fits his profile to a T. He's a ghetto thug who doesn't know how to stay on the right side of the law, so he's definitely on the right path with this rap thing.
