Pacman Jones may be having the most productive NFL suspension ever. First there was his poor attempt at being a pro wrestler (see pics above), now he's trying to take a shot at Jay-Z's crown.
Oh no, say it ain't so, anything but ...
Yes, Pacman Jones is going to try his hand at the rap game, becoming the latest baller-turned-rapper. (Like we haven't seen this a few times before.)
His National Street League Records (the NSL -- sounds familiar, no?), based in Atlanta, announced Wednesday that Jones will team up with producer Spoaty in a duo called Posterboyz.
Mark your calendars for Aug. 27, the day their first single "Let it Shine" drops. The song will talk about big money, cars and jewelry. How original.
Personally, I was looking forward to Pacman showing off his flow on the "Make It Rain" remix (you can never have to much rain), yet I suppose I can settle with a lil' shine instead.
As mentioned before, the National Street League sounds a tad familiar. The National Football League thought so as well, and league officials are currently investigating whether or not the record label's name infringes on the league's trademark, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
Honestly, the NFL should just take it easy because based on the athlete-turned-rappers that came before Pacman ...
This should blow over soon.

It will come to you, but stay out of trouble or you will fall to the wayside like so many others.
Peace

You don't require talent to rap, and you can make a crap load of money doing it. Please remind me why everyone isn't a rapper. Obviously it doesn't take intelligence to post a comment either.

Black adults and leaders should wonder why so many Black athletes (BA's) want to be Rap/Hip-Hop artists, while in their career, or when on some kind of... postponement of service.
The Black youths have been duped into feeling like it's an "integrated" and equal society, just like the "Negro League" players thought they'd be better off. Where are they and their League, Now?
BA's have something to say, just like any other members of a society, since the adults are materialistically swayed--hence the BA's have to make their own speaking arenas, since the Afrikan-American adults are scared to say: Pan-Afrikanize. Re-Separation/Segregation. Revolution!

actually, rap is not "music" - so musical endeavors is perhaps the wrong term to use - LOL! But he probably has as much "talent" (LOL) as any of the rest of them!

I think there shouldn't be any say on what this grown man does if he wants to rap let him rap oh well his NFL career is over, so he might as well do something thatz going to make him some good money. I would do the same if I was in his position.
