All though I do not condone animal cruelty. I think that it's jacked up that Micheal Vick was penalized to the degree that he was. Too me its almost like a insult. Why is it that Black Celebrities face the harshest punishments for lesser crimes? Why is it that Mr. Vick had to face Federal Charges in a court and Stars like Lindsey Lohan can get caught in possession of Cocaine and she gets a slap on the wrist. To me a fitting punishment would be pay a Big fine and serve a few months in jail and serve probations for Vick's Charge.

I say it's a insult because it sets a president that in america a black mans life is worth less than a dog

Wow what an answer from someone that gives the black community a bad name and stereotype. We just now blame the white man for this being a high profile case? My brother listen to what you are saying, this is a high profile case because he is a very high profile person for he is the highest paid quarterback in the NFL which makes him a target regardless of his race or color man.

We need to stop blaming people for our own mistakes because it makes us look ignorant and that is what they want us to do so lets stop doing that.

I remember early on in this story i heard people say they are on a witch hunt because he is a successful black man and my comment to that was maybe we should wait and see what the evidence brings before we make any conclusions and i also said what if he actually did the crime he is being charged with, would your response be the same then too?

I have also seen ignorant people make comments about who cares if he did this to these dogs because the white man did worse than that to us, wow that is an educated answer isn't it? I have some news for all of you that think this way we did not aprove of this treatment to our people and we should not compare this action to such a thing ever because if you are against slavery you should be against any action that is harmfull to any living thing period.

I have also seen people say why such a big deal about dog fighting because we allow boxers and other fighting and it is ok for them to beat the crap out of each other why not dogs, gee think before you speak you sound ignorant. The fact is that professional fighters choose to get into a ring and beat the crap out of each other but these animals have no choice at all and for them it is either kill or be killed end of story.

All i am asking as that we use logic when we make comments here because every time we look ignorant that is exactly what they want and we should all no better than that and for people like me i take pride in myself and do not wish to be listed as another statistic.
