Kobe Bryant wants to let you know that whatever rain you made last night at the strip club was nothing but drizzle compared to his major ballin':
Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, were at Friday night's grand opening of BLUSH Boutique Nightclub at the Wynn in Las Vegas, when he saw poker player Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari kick in for two bottles of $1,400 Cristal champagne. According to sources inside the club,
Kobe wasn't about to be shown up by some puny little card player -- and kicked in for five bottles. Antonio, who's used to upping the ante, then switched his order to ten! Go big or go home!
Kobe ended the competition when he purchased an astounding 15 bottles -- and then left the club!
In case you flunked fourth grade math, that's a grand total of $21,000 for some bubbly.
And yet you still wonder what Kobe's wife sees in him.
No, I'm sure it sucks to jet-set with a hubby who drops paper like that and buys you eight-carat diamonds when he sleeps around on you. After all, the odds of that happening are slim to none because everyone knows professional athletes are rarely unfaithful to their wives.

Yes, we all have financial woes, and we all think that some school or student could have made better use of that 20,000. But people, let it go. If Kobe wants to spend his money on Cristal then let him. It's his money. The difference between Kobe and some other rich Black man is that you heard about it. Everyone doesn't donate 10% of their paycheck to a worthy cause like charity or tithes or a country on the continent of Africa. Envy is not good for the soul, and neither is hating on and judging someone that you only see through the media's eyes.
