Things have been somewhat quiet for Michael Vick lately.
After pleading guilty, he now just awaits his sentencing in December.
Perhaps he spends his abundant freetime watching his (former) sucktastic Falcons try to play something resembling the game of football.
Yes, it's been pretty quiet ... or is just the calm before the storm?
Police are looking into a possible connection between Vick's Bad Newz Kennels and another dogfighting ring, whose owner was murdered in North Carolina. Roy "Bud" Melton was found shot to death execution-style on his property, which was the site of a dogfighting operation.
I wonder if Michael Vick ever sits and ponders at what point did his life go from "I'm rich, #@(&?!" to "Damn, I'm gonna be somebody's #@(&? in prison."

I hope he is using this time to reflect on his actions, to get in contact with his spirituality, and to think about using his 'celebrity' for something positive. I don't want to see him in jail. I think his time could be better spent doing something postive for a charity.

He's probably thinking, damn these people want me to tell on somebody else's operation, taking chances on my life, I thought I had fans, some black people talkin about me more than the white folks, I tried to take all the responsibility, they said I killed dogs- I never admitted to that, damn, this is f--cked up!!!!
I read in a Hampton Roads article that Vick has a child on the way and already has kids...I don't know how true that is but I am sure that he is concerned about that...I know y'all probably saying he should have been concerned with that at first,,,well, ish happens--some of us turn left when we should turn right...
Also, in the Federal Pen, there's not much of that rape ish going on as in the State Pen. , plus Vick don't look like no punk to me, all those hits on the football field, I think he will be able to handle himself, much to you all's dismay....

Let's give a little love to Michael Vick and look at the roots of his case. Believe it or not, this case is about a government out of control using it's elements to deny justice for all by spying domestically to make the case in advance. The IRS is out of control and using it's connections with the banking industry to hunt down every illegal dollar made in America. The problem here is the process is unconstitutional. Michael Vick is guilty because he copped a plea instead of fighting how the evidence was collected. The government can't break the law to make it's case against you. If the government fails to uphold the law then the case is dismissed. Michael Vick can be as guilty as sin, if the cop is guilty too. Like Iraq, if we make the case that Saddam is evil and we don't find the WMD we sold him; then the case is dismissed. Michael Vick is guilty, but if the law breaks the law, then we are all guilty. Vick was about Dog fighting. OJ is about sports memorabilia. Pacman is about prostitution. Steroids is about White people selling drugs. They couldn't pin this exclusively on Barry Bonds. Why isn't anyone chasing Lance Armstrong for winning 7 Tours? Floyd Landis just got stripped for using synthetic steroids. If the law is corrupt, then there is no justice. The government has already admitted that they are spying domestically? Why is Michael Vick so special that he is not being spied on by the government. It's more likely that by moving so much money so frequently, he is a target. Think about it! Nobody is guilty if the government is.

michael vick needs to just do the time and get on with his life hopefully he will play again in the nfl.his mistake was he didn't come clean from the very beginning had he just admitted this from the start maybe the country would have shown a little compassion but as it is now a football player drinks too much kills a person and is still playing football this country forgives now it's time to go ahead and give this man a second chance something that everyone deserves.

Mike Vick's true problem was his b$tch azz friends. They should have been the ones who said he didn't have anything to do with it because I am more than sure he would have taken care of them. Regardless of that, it was dogs. Dang, people getting paid for people fighting; for running prostitutes ... and he is going to do more time than a pimp for fighting dogs. I am just not understanding.
