Yesterday, I informed you that Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson was in desperate need of Lindsay Lohan. So desperate he was offering $10,000 to whoever could hook him up with her via his MySpace page.Well, it turns out that wasn't entirely (or in any shape or form, to be exact) true. I think the young brother is ashamed of the fact that he got caught chasing the "Jungle Fever". I mean, it's not like he proposition her for sex. Be real, you wanted to hit, but the white-girl didn't bite on the bait. Poor brother, it's cool, you ain't no significant factor to the black race, so do you!

I say who cares. I have a myspace page and things get posted on there that i didnt post. What we need to be asking ourselves is why this made the black voices news. Is there not more important issues that need to be reported. We all do need things to read that are for pure recreational use. But I feel as a black young female we should have more informative news on the Aol Black voices page.

a black man with a white woman is all to common now, i myself perfer black men, but to my dismay, black men do not perfer me. if i see a black woman with a man of another race, i dont think too much of it, but when i see a white woman with a black man, i just think what is it that she has that i dont. then there are the black me who get with white women and start to put black women down saying that black women are this, black women are that, black women are gold diggers, black women are on welfare, well, i want to share some advice that i got from my white friend who happens to be on welfare
i asked her about dating this guy, he wasnt all that attractive, but his personailty is what attracted me to him, either way just normal girl talk i said
"i really like him but im not sure if i should date him or just be friends"
and her response was
"girl who cares about what he looks like, he has a nice ass car thet you could drive"

Why are there so many small minded people on the web? There are many fake my space sites out there and I believe my space is trying to correct it and to say that athletes don't have to use the web to meet someone and you can believe that I believe it was an idiot trying to get this kind of reaction from the public.

After reading these comments about DeShawn I'm glad I have a little self knowledge. Sam hit the nail right on the head, were all human beings. When you do some soul seaching you'll find out that who you love is not by choice, it's a command read the Word.
