Shaquille O'Neal Is Too 'Bad' For Us 'Earthlings'

With Dwyane Wade still healing from a surgically repaired knee and shoulder, the Miami Heat are looking old, sluggish, and well, pretty crappy without him.

We're talking AARP this season for the Heat.

Wizznutz.com sums it up like this, "The Miami Heat are like one of those luxury Richard Meyer condos popping up along the South Florida coast: shiny, expensive, and trendy - sure - but ultimately a cold and cynical operation where the residents never talk about the dead bird carcasses that litter the sidewalk. It's not the glamor ticket it used to be. Sure celebrities still show up, but now they show up out of pity, like they show up on Byron Allen's Entertainers!"

However, don't try telling that to Shaquille O'Neal. The big man refuses to believe he's in decline, repair, out of shape, or whatever nice labels one might want to give the terms "slow" and "old":

"I'm still the baddest [expletive] in the world," Shaq said. "Yeah, I'm getting older, but Kareem got older. Hakeem got older.

"I don't need Earthlings' respect. When it's all said and done, my name will be there and it will be mentioned ... unless you Earthlings try to erase it."

Now would be a great time for Shaq to beam down to planet Earth. You know, the planet where his Heat are currently getting their ass kicked on a nightly basis.

It's not wise to ever count Shaq out or finished, as there's a reason why he's been one of the most popular players in the NBA for years and sports plenty of championship bling. But please Shaq, let's end the "Earthlings" talk. Besides, don't you have more than enough drama brewing with soon-to-be-ex-wife Shaunie?
