When you hear coaches and teammates talk about Sean Taylor, you get the sense that he was on the cusp of becoming a phenomenal well-rounded safety. Redskins defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who was fighting back tears when talking about Taylor on Monday, gushed about how he had the gigantic size and speed to excel in coverage and against the run.Rookie strong safety LaRon Landry echoed those sentiments when asked about Taylor, "He is an unbelievable player ...Sean always wanted to deliver the big hit. But I think he enjoyed the coverage part of the game, too, because a lot of people didn't feel like he could do it. And he liked to show that he was the complete package, you know? That he could beat you by beating you up, making the physical hit, but also by taking the ball away from you."
If you need proof just check out the following video clips after the jump:
And here's my personal favorite, which clearly shows that Sean Taylor didn't understand the meaning of "exhibition football." If there was a football and he was wearing pads, he was going to give you all he had. One more grand reason why he'll be truly missed.

This is just a shame...we will not see another one like Sean in our liftime. He was just freak of nature on the football field. Regardless of what has happened, the TERANTULA will live FOREVER in the land of the SKINS!! God be with you Sean, you will be sorely missed...we will all miss you!

This is a very sad situation for us as black people. When will we ever realize we are not as tough as we think we are. I know that sounds heartless, but growing up in the "hood" is very dangerous especially
when you are rich. Its hard when you poor, but having money brings out the worse type of criminals in our neighborhoods, and its tough for anyone trying do something with their lives to survive from day to day.
Jealousy thats all that was about and i hate my man from the U is gone already. Wake up everybody and thank god for all your blessing and your life.God bless Sean Taylor and his family.

R.I.P. Sean Taylor D.C. will miss you. My prayers go out to you and your family. Im a Chicago Bears Fan but live in D.C. my whole life. Sean Taylor was still one of my favorite players because of the undeniable talent he showed on the field. It truly heart my heart to hear you died the way you did. Dont no person deserve to wake up death. Whoever did it was a coward and is going straight to hell. These people are cold blooded, heartless killers, that has nothing to do with being from the hood. Antoine Walker, Eddie Curry, and Andre Blatche of the Wizards also had home invasions. None of these athletes were in the hood. Jealousy is wherever you do. Ask Javon Walker when Darrent Williams got killed right next to him in a limo, coming from a New Year's Eve party. No one should have to worry about the safety of themselves or their family in their home. It is obvious that this was an attempt on Sean's life. I hope the police Wake Up! R.I.P. Sean D.C. Will never forget you.
