The Knicks got a royal beatdown courtesy of the Celtics last night by a score of 104-59. I'm pretty sure a beating like this is illegal in most states and it's called aggravated assault.
Only Nate Robinson's 37-foot 3-pointer at the final buzzer saved the Knicks from scoring the fewest points in franchise history. That might not be enough to save coach Isiah Thomas from getting fired: He was all-but-gone during an eight-game losing streak before earning a reprieve with two straight wins.Um, ya think?
Now the Knicks are embarrassing themselves again.
"We take two steps forward and one giant step back," Thomas said. "I don't know where this game came from. I thought we played extremely selfish tonight ... Definitely didn't see this type of game coming after the last two games we played. This was just not a good night."
But unlike Boston's superbeast NFL Patriots, the Celtics actually made a strong effort not to run up the score. They tried to help the Knicks earn some pride back. Almost like a Jerry McGuire "Help us, to help you" moment.
Kevin Garnett played just 22 minutes, scoring eight points before leaving the game midway through the third quarter with Boston ahead 69-34. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen also sat out the fourth quarter and played 29 minutes apiece.Maybe that's what the Knicks were doing during this game. Catching up on some much needed sleep.
"I can't even remember having that much rest," Garnett said. "It's good, because we have back-to-back games. Rest is important at this time."

Dis mess right here is straight up embarrassing...New York is the place for the movers and shakers and it has the most overpaid, low morale basketball team of the new millennium.

I've been a die hard Knicks fan for quite a long time. I supported them through all of these rough times. But I think I must move on. I don't even mind the losing as long as they play to win. I watched the game against Boston ( some of it) and saw the bench yawning, laughing while behind thirty points. How can we as fans have their backs when they don't have their own. I don't even think free tickets will fill seats now except for families that don't get to go to games because of the high prices. I OFFICIALY RESIGN FROM BEING A KNICKS FAN!!!! And you should do the same until something is done to prove to the fans that winning is on their agenda.

It's a shame that we are supoose to be the greatest city in the world and we have the worst team of all time
over paid coach and players not giving results, the knicks main office needs to dock these bums pay for every game they lose by 6 points i bet then there asses will play better or at least give the New York Fans something to cheer about.
this is to the sad ass die hard New York fans that see the writing on the wall but dont want to read what is say, which is stop watching the games, stop buying and going to the games in other words let the knicks start loosing money every game by people not going to games and if there expences start to be more then they are making every game night ill bet the main office will get off there asses and make changes in team personal by making trades to get some real talented players in here for Isiah to coach then we might see some wins and pride back in this city, and if that don't work then you fire Mr Thomas but give him the chance to coach some real talent instead of the bunch of Bums we have now for a team!!

Back when they had a lower point total which was a franchise record basketball wasn't as advanced and players weren't being paid the money that they are now! Are The Celtics really That GOOD?!
