Terrell Owens Parties Like It's His Birthday (Oh Wait ... It Kinda Is)

Terrell Owens turns 34 on Friday, but who wants to wait until the weekend to party?

Certainly not T.O., who celebrated his birthday early with family, teammates and celebrity friends.

Bringing some Hollywood glitz and glamour to Texas, T.O.'s birthday bash also served as a charity event with funds going to the Catch a Dream Foundation, an organization helping 81 needy families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Party guests were asked to bring teddy bears that would be donated to a children's hospital.

Who Was There?

No fiesta is complete without folks who own million-dollar houses and grace the glossy pages of magazines. There were plenty of celebs on hand to wish T.O. happy birthday including Jamie Foxx, Serena Williams, Michael Irvin, Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams (yes, she is alive!), actresses Kenya Moore, Elise Neal and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and 'Girlfriends' actress Jill Marie Jones.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo briefly stole the spotlight when reporters badgered him about where his date was, of course referring to his blossoming relationship with the "oops where's my brain," soooo not good enough for him, pop singer Jessica Simpson. (Really, we're not bitter here.)

But I digress ...

In case your invite got lost in the mail, here's a glimpse at the party fun:

For a guy who has been accused of being selfish and concerned with only numero uno, Owens has gone out of his way to prove he's not the devil incarnate and actually a standout team player this year.

Hopefully, the big media players will take note.

He even took a moment from the festivities to reflect on Redskins' Sean Taylor, who was shot and killed last week.

"Getting another birthday is very special," Owens told the Dallas Star-Telegram. "When you ask me about that, I think of Sean Taylor. He's 24 years of age and didn't make it to 25. So I cherish every moment. His death puts a lot into perspective."

Touché.
