Kobe Bryant is absolutely giddy right now. His team finally got the help they needed, they beat the Dallas Mavericks in an overtime thriller on Sunday, and now Kobe Bean is promoting his new shoe. The Nike Zoom Kobe III is now available on his website, www.kb24.com, along with a set of commercials that will be featured each week. This week the featured commercial finds Kobe as George Washington Carver, a genius wearing shoes that are genius.

"We wanted a way to talk directly about the shoe while showing Kobe as you've never seen him," said Brian Ford, creative director and co-founder of ad agency Zambezi Ink. "So he embodies geniuses of the past to reflect the genius of the Zoom Kobe III. Plus, seeing Einstein and the rest of them totally ball out is funny to me."

Yes, Kobe will also dress up as Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Amadeus Mozart in upcoming commercials. Also, later this month and in May, two new colors of the Zoom Kobe III will be introduced. Take a look at one of the commercials here:
