Laila Ali is pretty much done with boxing now.
You've seen her co-hosting 'American Gladiators' on NBC and reporting on health and fitness on the CBS Morning Show, and now she's going to do something for the kids. Ali is currently working on a new Nickelodeon show called 'The N's Student Body,' a show that follows a group of teens as they change their lives by diet, exercise, volunteer work and academics.
"It deals with obesity and helping these kids changing their lives around," Ali told VOA News about the show and how reaching kids is important to her. "The kids look up to you. Every time I make an appearance, I'm always going to be a positive person, just a role model. I've been doing that since I first became a public person."
And if you think she'll try to make a comeback in the ring, don't hold your breath. Ali is done.
"I got bored with boxing. You can't fight forever. You get older," she said. "I want to do other things."

I know I'd like to go a few rounds with her and I would not mind if she knocked me out. Seriously I'm happy for her and her new endeavors, I wish her success in all she does.

Thomas Beatle is not a man! He had the nerve to go public trying to play with out intelligence! He is a she event though she has a haircut like a man and showing sideburns like a man. She/he decided to keep her female organs! Sorry Thomas YOU ARE A WOMAN and will always be one until you have the bottom sex change. My advice is this don't play with mother nature. She can get very ugly! Oprah had a job to do and she only did it for the TV ratings. Oprah is widely respect and loved by millions. She was only invited to the show to interview someone that is stupid and bold enough to do what she did. That was poor journalism with the media try to sell newspapers!

No sex change! Thomas Beatle is not a man she is a woman. This she/he is not fooling me. This was poor journalism with the media. Don't play with God's creativity. The Lord didn't like this at all! In my opinion Thomas is not a man SHE/HE is a woman. Men don't have babies!

I am personally glad Ali that you have hung up the gloves and all that comes with it. Thank you for the many brilliant boxing matches which you performed. However, my interest in children and their growth and development in every area of life which will challenge them is very important. We thank you Laila for being one who has the mental and physical unselfishness to share with our youth. I am especially interested in you and your success and involvement in this endeavor as we have known you and the girls (your sistah's) way back when you all were just little girls as we all loved and still love with all of our hearts your beloved father who himself has made so many contributions to America and the world. May Allah Almighty continue to bless you and provide you with guidance, hope and faith. Peace and love!

Bravo Laila, what you are doing will help so many children across the nation/world to finally feel good about themselves and have hope! I am a father and applaud you for taking on a task that could impact millions of children. Keep on knocking 'em out! I represent R&B singer Olivia whose service I will volunteer to you to help promote your new opportunities for children! You are doing God's work by helping the children.
