Boxer Laila Ali and her husband, former NFL player Curtis Conway, are expecting their first child together. People Magazine reports: "I don't know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I'm excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created," Ali says in the May issue [of Essence], which hits newsstands April 11.With a former football player as a father, a boxer as a mother, and the one and only "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" Muhammad Ali as a grandfather, it's needless to say this kid's coming out ripped and ready to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft or knock someone out.
Ali, the co-host of 'American Gladiators' and Conway married last July. This will be the first child for Ali and the fourth for Conway.
Mommy-to-be Ali has recently expressed hanging up her boxing gloves and pursuing more opportunities within the television industry. Ali is currently working on a new Nickelodeon show helping teens battle obesity.
