Next week, the good folks at TV Land will be debuting the reality series, "Family Foreman." Yes, tis another athlete getting his reality show on. The series will focus on the everyday life of George Foreman and his wife and children, four of them also annoyingly named George. The show premieres on July 16 and will run six 30 minute episodes for the next month and a half.
"Olympic gold medal winner, minister, businessman -- there are so many ways to describe George Foreman -- but viewers have never seen how he juggles all of these demands with being a loving father," said Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land, in a statement. "Foreman truly lives life to the fullest, and our viewers can easily relate to how he gets caught up in the frenzy of his busy life."Some of the episodes will showcase things like Foreman promoting a new book or trying to make it home for his son's football game and maybe even cooking with his grill. After every episode, fans can head to TVLand.com and get the background info of each episode from Foreman's daughter Natalie, in the form of a blog. Are you interested?

This is going to be very interesting! George Foreman is a character! I love his spirit! He is probably the only man to have ever scared me...in my life! I was in Las Vegas walking in one direction and George was walking towards me, from another direction. I actually became frozen...I could not believe his size. His dang it forearms were bigger than my thighs! I just recall thinking...Boy, I'm glad that he is not my father...I was imagining those dang it azz whippings! Whew...
Anyway, can't wait to see George in his element...he can manage to make anyone smile! Keep up the great work George this world needs a big SMILE!

True, there are too many reality TV shows, but the ones that depict the family lives of our favorite celebrities will never bore me. They're much more interesting that the sitcoms. I wish George Foreman the best.

Mr. Foreman's reality show will probably be blessed by God just like his life has been. Mr. Foreman is a living testament to God's power and grace. God can take a thug roughian like Geroge Foreman and the Apostle Paul and do great things through them. God can do great things through each of us if we allow God to rule and guide our lives. Without saying a word about God, Mr. Foreman's life story is and his reality show will be a powerful sermon about God's love and power to shape lives. If the producers do not attempt to present another show depicting Blacks as buffoons, Mr Foreman's series should be a hit, at least with me...just like his grill. I'll be watching, analyzing, learning and applying Mr. Foreman's lessons learned to my life.

Family reality shows are different from the others. You learn real truth, love and the respect they have for one another that media doesn't show or tell.I can't wait to see George in action. I always liked him.
