Michael Vick gets out of prison in July 2009 which is around the same time the United Football League will begin their inaugural season. The league will run from August to November and directly compete with the NFL. Although there are only six teams, L.A., San Francisco, Las Vegas, Orlando, New York, and Hartford, Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban will own one of the teams, and league commissioner Michael Huyghue said that they are "98 percent" sure that Vick will play in the UFL for their first season.
"Michael's not going to be able to walk right back into the NFL,'' Huyghue told Sports Illustrated's Peter King. "He's going to need some kind of buffer before he signs in the NFL, and we'll be able to provide that for him.''
Vick will most likely be suspended by the NFL for the 2009 season and according to King, he will also be ineligible for the Canadian Football League, which doesn't leave too many options to play football. The UFL will have a $20 million salary cap per team, with quarterbacks speculated to make between $1 million and $4 million. Even the coaches will make close to $1 million a season, so the league could get some quality players and coaches who couldn't makes moves in the NFL or sit at the bottom of team rosters. Typing in "scream" font, (all caps) with some off-base justification of something that really has NOTHING to do with Michael Vick, this discussion, nor his situation, while simultaneously providing a textbook example of the utter failure of our nation's educational system, is proof positive that the illiteracy card will ALWAYS trump the race card. Nope, nope, nope! Michael Vick should NEVER be allowed to play football professionally again. I don't care how good he WAS. He committed a crime. Get in the unemployment line with the rest of the people out of work today, Michael! And now he's pleading guilty in hopes of getting out early? For what? Guilty means 'hey I was there and I was involved, look people I did it too'. Now can I play football?' No way, nuh,uh! He had the golden opportunity of a life time and he BLEW IT. He missed his window! That ship has sailed! I don't care where he came from, what his upbringing was or his race is. That's just an excuse. Allowing him back into football would be sending a detrimental message to the youths of today. He was a role model to many young kids, black, and yes, white. Oh and you want to play the race card? They didn't allow Pete Rose back into baseball for betting did they and his actions didn't physically harm any persons or animals. Yes, maybe morally and financially he did. But he was banned! As should Michael Vick be from football. Maybe he could get a job coaching a recreational league somewhere in his hometown. LOL

This country was built on a damn crime and people in power continue to commit crimes. Throwing the race card is a free way out it is a fact of life. Some races have been treated like shit and continue to do so. Micheal should've cut his lawn so he could have seen those snakes that are his so called friends. But God take you through something in order to allow you to see more clearly. He will rebound because he isn't the first and he want be the last. But I seen her Erma showed her racism when messing up Obama name. Don't blame him for his mother's choice in not seeing race as a fact to not love a man. Because she married two men outside of her race and it was based on love. But know that not only her kids educated the men that she married and loved were educated. Also the people that they choice to love are educated. Now you get educated and what do they Indians think. Hell, google Don Cheatham(Hotel Rawanda,Ocean 11+12 etc) and asked his family because they were enslaved by Indians. So it just wasn't Whites.
