EliteXC MMA fighter Kimbo Slice's popularity continues to grow. He recently hooked up with San Diego Chargers running back Ladanian Tomlinson to do a "viral" sort of commercial for Nike. The scene takes place supposedly at Kimbo's house in his backyard where folks are having a barbecue and LT starts working out by lifting air conditioners and punching refrigerators.
But it doesn't stop at the commercial. Slice also recently signed to be in the TV movie Drake and Josh: Best Christmas Ever. Yes, it's a kids' movie that will be shown on Nickelodeon this holiday season. Who knew Slice was appropriate for children? Slice will play Bludge, a menacing con who befriends Drake and Josh. Slice was also being considered for a role in the upcoming 3D MMA flick, Kung-Fu U, which stars Holk Hogan, but the deal didn't go through.
As far as fighting, Slice's next match is next month versus Brett Rogers. For now check out the Nike commercial after the jump:

The video is very funny; I think he should try his hand at acting because he has no future in fighting. He’ll never make it to the top he’s at about the level he’ll achieve, there are some real fighters out there and they will kill him. Sorry all you fans but those are the facts he’s a better character then a fighter.

I would be glad to; it’s obvious you know nothing about fighting. Kimbo has to many flaws, where do we start he has no balance, punches with his head down, doesn’t have a wide assortment of punches, has no ground game, his conditioning sucks. Do I keep going Floyd? Or maybe I should get in the ring with you.

It really doesn't matter about Kimbos balance, technique, etc. etc. He has something every fighter wish they could have...IT! Kimbo has "IT" If he handles himself as a professional while it last, he'll never have to work a hard day's work again!
