According to the Associated Press, a George County High School football star in Jackson, Mississippi named Billey Joe Johnson shot himself with a shotgun after he was pulled over by a police officer. According to the report, the officer pulled him over, took his license and while he was back in his patrol car for a license check, Johnson killed himself."The deputy was sitting in his patrol vehicle ... when he heard a gunshot and saw the victim laying on the ground by the driver's side door of the vehicle that Johnson was driving. A shotgun was lying on the victim," according to a statement from the George County Sheriff's Department.
The authorities are not sure if the shooting was an accident or suicide but Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is looking at the cause of death. According to the Associated Press, Johnson rushed for more than 4,000 yards in his high school career. Plus he had scholarship offers from universities including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State and Oregon.
"We're just in shock," George County High assistant coach Darwin Nelson said. "To say that he had a world of potential would be one of the biggest understatements of the century. I just can't explain this."
Of course, friends and family are in disbelief by the shooting which brings up the question about the incident report. With police officers sometimes taking matters in their own hands lately, some folks on the outside think this death is a bit fishy. How about you?

your last comment is disgusting, but expected, not surprising. God took care of him? wow, and youre a grown woman talking about a 17 year old. is this how ppl in mississippi think?
dev, your comment is so full of sh, are you telling me police in mississippi allow suspects to flee? they follow them with their lights flashing for miles huh? then allow the subject to get out of the vehicle and approach them, no big deal right? THEN turn their back on them LOL you are a joke and so is the deputy's statement! youre trying way to hard to convince people. are you sullivan? hannahs mother? i bet youre a close friend of the family
I already caught you in a few lies you think i believe that a cousin of his said he was gonna kill that girl smh, then why didnt he do it? why didnt kick down the door or bust through the window that he TAPPED on? if a cousin of his said that why you just now mention it, smh AND WHERE ARE THE OTHER TWO MEN? I WANT THAT QUESTION ANSWERED? WHY HAVENT THEY BEEN LOOKED FOR? oh according to you, lucedale police are so laid back they allow ppl who attempted to break in someones house to run free right? the break in story has changed but you IGNORE that part, why did it change? that means somebody is LYING. just like youre lying
that f's up the whole case right there. You know whoever did this is gonna pay. one of your buddies is gonna pay. the truth will come out eventually.
the police report which is available online says APPARENT SUICIDE, they treated this case as suicide from day one and you know it.
i agree he should not have been there, thinking its 2009 and times have changed. its unfortunate some ppl actually believe that.
i read a comment that said, "whoever did this will have it on their Conscience"..and another poster said "white ppl dont have a conscience history has shown us that time and time again"
dont get mad at us for learning from history...

You are truly a racist idiot. You have no concept of what truth is, and it is impossible for you to recognize it when it is staring you in the face. You haven't "caught" me in lies, and you continually twist the facts and add fabrications to suit you.
Yes, I think things happen for a reason, and yes, I do believe that God was watching that morning and protecting innocent people.
This case is settled. Any official with half a brain is not going to waste any more time on this case. It was an accident, plain and simple.
Where was your outrage when the interracial couple was murdered by a black man in Lucedale last year? She was white, and carrying a baby. Where was your outrage THEN?

i caught you lying again.>> "Nobody ever SAID this was suicide....it was always put out there by the police here that it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound" the official police documents says APPARENT SUICIDE
why do you lie devi? i dont get it, why lie?
listen, i wasnt there and neither were YOU. we can only guess what happened, but you speak so matter of factly i think you had something to do with it, or know someone who does.
1. why did the MBI break out the window? (key evidence)
2. why was only the left back part of his skull and tounge missing from the autopsy? (more key evidence)
3. if the shotgun discharched inside the truck, why was there no residue found in the truck?
4. how did the shotgun land directly on top of his body?
5. why was there a hole in the driver side window? (one shot 2 holes?)
6. last but not least WHERE ARE THE OTHER TWO MEN THAT "ATTEMPTED" TO BREAK IN HANNAH'S TRAILER?
lets just stick to the facts dev. youre getting emotional.
as long as you continue to post i will continue to rip your posts apart!!! lucky for you i have no time to follow you around on the many forums and boards you continuously post on about this case...
