Sparks' Candace Parker and Kings' Shelden Williams Eloped

We're not sure how we missed this one, but LA Sparks phenom, Candace Parker and Sacramento Kings' Shelden Williams got married back on November 13. Apparently they wanted to have a huge superstar wedding but their schedules were too busy to plan one, so the couple eloped to Lake Tahoe and tied the knot.

"We just decided that with both of our schedules, it would be better to elope," Williams told the Sacramento Bee.

Williams proposed to Parker back in May 2007 and apparently that engagement was long enough. Watch Parker talk about their marriage after the jump:

I am a beautiful female basketball player with a 3 point jumpshot out of this world. I am happily married. I have never understood why people always identify women that play basketball with being gay. I didnot realize I could shoot a basketball till I was 11 years old. Just because God gives u a special talent does not mean that u are gay. Please judge everyone individually. Congrats Candace u r my role model even though I am older than u.
