It appears that gambling may not be the only problem Charles Barkley. He may be looking for a designated driver for New Years too. The NBA great was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Wednesday morning in Arizona at a well-organized DUI checkpoint.

According to a report, Barkley ran a stop sign in Scottsdale, Arizona around 1:30 am and was pulled over by a drunk driving task force. Barkley refused a breathalyzer test but was given a blood test, although the results of that test weren't immediately available.

Barkley was processed, released and took a cab home.

"There was nothing unusual about how he was taken into custody," Lt. Eric Shuhandler told AZ Central. "He was treated exactly like we treat anybody else."
