One time sought after cornerback and kick return specialist, Adam 'Pacman' Jones, is jobless once again. The Dallas Cowboys released him this week. He was suspended for six games after getting in a fight with his security and barely contributed anything on the field for the team."He was surprised, and I think he was obviously somewhat hurt," Worrick Robinson, Jones' Nashville, Tenn.-based attorney, told the Associated Press. "At the same time, he understands the business behind what is happening here."
Coincidently, the day Jones is released; ESPN reports that he allegedly ordered a shooting on someone at an Atlanta strip club back in June 2007, a month after Jones was suspended for the season. When doing research for the report, ESPN reporter John Barr contacted the Cowboys and NFL offices and asked them for comments. Barr believes that this new information contributed to the release of Jones.
According to ESPN and Barr's "Outside the Lines" report, scheduled to air Sunday, the June 2007 shooting occurred outside a suburban Atlanta strip club. One of the shooting victims told "Outside the Lines" that he had a dispute with Jones inside the strip club and that not long after he and the two others left the club, a hail of bullets struck their car. The NFL knew about that incident, but charges were never brought against anyone because the victims did not see the shooter.
Jones denies all the allegations and even threatened ESPN for the report.
"It will be a lawsuit in a week against ESPN," Jones told the Dallas Morning News. "That's stupid. It's so stupid I have no more comments."
So far, no team has shown interest in signing Pacman.

I think this is a vindictive story there is no new evidince.there just presenting it in a new format on camera. all the people were interviewed be local offical there was no evidince to say that jones was even involved in the shooting. this is just a chance for Barr to get his name out there an keep this kid down. He(Barr) more than likely have ties with the people in Vagas an is just doing his part of to keep this kid unemployed. An drag his name in the mudd he saw a chance took it. This is a perfect example of the the man keepin you down.

It is not ESPN's fault! It is HIS fault! Who does he think he is?! Does he really think people are going to continue to invest money in him while he goes out and act a fool off the field?! And he isn't performing on the field? Bruh, please!!!!Take your pink slip and keep it movin'!!!!

Damn rights Nubian, you can teach a two year old to expect reprecussions for his actions, and to seek out ways to avoid the painful reminders.
But grown men who need more than one lesson should definitely not be rewarded with pay. Would be nice though when there are no more stories about Mr. Jones. Enough of us have been "Dumbed Down" as it is.

TELL ME....When is it ok not to take responsiblity for our own behavior?? Ask Pacman to be honest with himself. What role did he play in the chain of events that led to his dismissal. Was it him, his twin or his clone? IT WAS HIM!! He is the one who makes/made all of that money. Apparently, he let that go to his head. Whose fault is that? Maybe with whatever monies he has left he can purchase a brain with some sense in it.

Amazing the chances this brotha had. He had to world in his hand, yet he pissed it all away. Great job, Adam. In the grand scheme of things, Adam, you are insufficient. In a few years, you will go away. Nobody will care about you. You will be a tragic story, a reference point to others on what not to be. I know you dont care. Just remember Adam, you are done and its your fault. So as you get old, please remember, you f*ck up and you can never go back. You have been a bigger role model to me on what type of man not to be. Thank you.

The guy is an idot, and always has been even since his days in college. The truth be known he was not that good of a football player;Tennessee proved that by releasing him and haveing a great year. As far as Dallass is concerned it could not of happened to a better team. I hope the NFL gets a new policy soon to get rid of these crimanals;one and done with a no tolerence policy.

He deserves to be fired. In fact, he fired himself. If this guys wants to run with the poor thugs, then let him go to the streets and enjoy himself. In the meantime, the NFL is a for profit business and talent alone is not enough!

This is a media lynching! ESPN should be sued for defamation. Yes Adam bears responsibility for his actions. He was suspended he took his suspension sat out and came back and was gainfully employed by Mr. Jerry Jones but the behemouth ESPN chose to run this story OUTSIDE the Lines INSIDE of the playoffs. ESPN should be ashamed and Bob Lee looks and sounds Gay. Adam keep your head up make better decisions youll be alright. At least he didnt run and hide like Jason Giambi, Roger (dope Needle) Clemmons, Bill (spit on others and use sreroids) Romaniski, or Lance (i won but i use my lawyers to stifle truth) Armstrong!!!!!

TO POST #9 cover up, dude, your redneck is showing!!
No one wants Pacman? I'll take him. I know from my many many years on Earth that most people who screw up find a way to get where they want to be once they get their ducks in a row. I'll take a chance on him. He can play for my team.
