Anyone who was watching the Masters Tournament last weekend was probably flabbergasted when Tiger Woods ended up in the woods, swung his club and nailed a tree with the ball. That's the case for former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who wrote about the experience of following Tiger at the Masters for the Daily Beast Web site.
That's right, Condi's got a new gig: sports blogger.
"Golf is not supposed to be 'one on one,'" Rice wrote.
"You are told to 'play the course. Play your game.' Yet when Tiger is on the course and starts one of his surges, it feels like Magic Johnson or Jerry Rice one on one with an opponent. And we've all come to expect the impossible. When Tiger's ball hit that tree at 18, I felt like Joe Montana had just thrown a pick in a two-minute drive in the Super Bowl. But you know that Tiger will be there to do it right the next time."
The piece was Condi's first for the Web site, and she will contribute sports commentary regularly. She's also a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and a political science professor at Stanford University.

I think Condi would be a better Fiction writer, ("The liberation of Iraq")...or perhaps Mystery;( "Where are the weapons of mass distruction?")....or a Thriller,("How I help murder a million Iraqis")...How about a Love Story,("Me and George") add this to your Blog Condi!!!

Typical Liberal. Can't keep to the subject at hand. Has to change the subject to fit their agenda. Another Bush basher. Here's the reason why there's a great divide between the parties. Liberals will defend their own no matter what they have done wrong. I could name a few but the subject is about Condi. She's a marvelous example of Black accomplishments. It's a shame there are those who won't look at that but only look at the party affiliation.

CONDI is another great example of king george's Lying Stooge Brigade. Look at the sheep posting here and see the irony of their "complaints" about "LIBRULS" Stupidity is the cornerstone of the neo-con (lack of) thought process.

When will you morons stop? They're not in charge anymore. If we're still in Iraq you're going to have to blame the current administration. If more people lose their jobs, it's the current president thtat's responsible. Obama fought for this job for 2 years. Now he has it so now he has to quit complaining that he inherited the mess and start fixing it. Bush's presidency is over. Now what will you complain about?
