It's been almost two years since New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush and Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian publicly came out as a couple. And of course after a couple has been together awhile, the media start coming out asking if there are wedding bells coming soon. Kardashian said yes, but not anytime soon.
"So many people rush into it and it's all this pressure because they see we've been together for a while," Kardashian told PEOPLE at last weekend's Race to Erase MS gala in Los Angeles. "But, we're heading there. When we're ready, we'll know. I mean I think that it's in our future. We've been together two years but we are taking our time and I think hopefully this one will last because of that. We're just totally dating and normal and happy and there's no rush."
And if the two do jump the broom, it doesn't appear that Reggie will have any mother-in-law
issues. Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian's mother, has nothing but love for her future son-in-law.
"I think he has a lot of respect for Kim and he loves her so much, you can just see it," she told PEOPLE. "He's just a really nice guy and when you date somebody in our family it's like you kind of date the whole family and he really fits in well."
In the meantime, let's hope Bush can help turn around a New Orleans Saints team that went 8-8 last season.

I think some individuals on here are taking this subject way too seriously. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should not be bashed for expressing what they feel. For the record, I did say it SEEMS that SOME black ATHELETS choose to date outside their race when they become rich. I tried to choose my words carefully so not to throw all black men in the same bucket which is what some individuals on here are doing in regards to black women. I'm fully aware that people should be with who they want to be with. Just because I choose to speak on what I consider to be an ongoing trend amongst PROFESSIONAL BLACK MALE ATHELETS doesn't mean that I want all black men to date all black women. That's ridiculous.

Gosh you people don't have nothing else to do Kim is not a hoe, just cause she made a video with her x boyfriend and his stupid ass let it leak doesn't mean she is a hoe alot people record themselves behind close door and if numbers were exposed everybody would be a hoe...leave them alone

I hear the hurt in my sista's regarding the black and white thing.
I understand.
I'm from the era where it began and interracial dating, marriage became more acceptale. In the 70's.
I accept individuals in their decision for a mate, regardless of race. I too was once totally dedicated to my black man even though I was approached by other races. I alway felt the advances from another race was to add another notch in their belt and nothing serious.
However, I have evolved! I do not care what the race is as long as they are genuine and possess the qualities I need. I have not been intimate but once out of my race and I can only say to be truly shown care, admiration and the desire for a future is the most exotic emotion. I felt loved, desired and appreciated. I never, felt that from my black man.
I will date a black man, however my requirements of treatment from the onset have changed, and I was shown that treatment by man from other races. It has been an experience.
So sista's, once you realize that you are Diamonds and Gold to other races and you no longer want to be stereotyped, learn how you want to be treated, the black and white thing will be a waste of your beautiful time and energy.

there area lot of black men that have that have that going on when they are successful the white women that would not give them a second look if they did not have money. it is not just athletes. quincy jones, sidney poitier,michael jackson etc; it would take me all day to name them all. some of them want someone they can dominate and some think that it give them credibility but it only have the opposite effect. jason on THE GAME said i married white i should'nt be going through this stuff, when he was having marriage problems with the white kelly. listen guys all black women are not drama queens with the eye rolling and head shaking and the argumentative nature that we are associated with as black women. i in turned dated a MAN like that want to argue all the time about nothing. i put up with it for a few months then i had to put some paper in his life to get him away from me. so listen black men all black women are NOT DRAMA QUEENS.

Wow, all this talk about race is really throwing the attention off the whole issue at hand. First and foremost when it comes to the "leaked" sex tape, Ray J himself said that he came up with the idea and Kim agreed IF SHE COULD KEEP THE ONLY COPY. C'mon now folks, put the pieces together. She's the only one who had the copy of the tape AND she use to be Paris Hilton's personal shopper, which we all know that Paris has had what, 2 SEX TAPES? Coincidence? Yeah right. "Ray J leaks the sex tape and then her stage mom 'makes' her pose for Playboy for her career" but yet, she doesn't want that image... Please, and if you research it, SHE'S GETTING PAID EVERYTIME SOMEONE BUYS THE TAPE!
I am not a hater what-so-ever. If she was just a regular "socialite" then I may could stomach her better. But she's about 30 years old, which makes her old enough to decide her own decisions, and she's a liar who wants to be famous so bad that she will do whatever it takes. That's sick. And Reggie is crazy enough to fall for it... Or not. I just cannot believe that so many individuals are falling for her "woe is me" crap. And we're wondering why pregnancy and STD rates are going up within our youth. "Make a sex tape, you'll be a 'reality star' too"... WOW
