Shaquille O'Neal is nearing the end of his playing career and he's already looking to life after basketball. It probably won't be the law enforcement thing anymore, thanks to last summer's freestyle mishap, but mass communications is on the list. O'Neal enrolled in a two-day training session at Syracuse University called Sportscaster U to get the know-how in broadcast journalism.
"After basketball, I'd love to have my own radio show, my own TV show," Shaq told the Post-Standard.
During the training, Shaq practiced taping broadcasts, writing scripts, and conducting interviews. Shaq was actually the first person to get an on-camera interview with former Duke point guard, Greg Paulus after his announcement of playing football for Syracuse. i know shaq is almost at the end of his career, i know its a few more years to go in him, now that shaq and kobe has won a title without one another i think that the lakers should resign shaq back with the lakers to have that reunion with him derick fisher, kobe,phil jackson cuz im a hugh laker fan and this is something i would love to see happen.i was very disappointed when the lakers got rid of shaq. Son to the lakers organization bring the diesel back home to L.A
