While everyone remembering and paying tribute to Michael Jackson in the moments after his memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Ron Artest is choosing his own unique way to honor the "King of Pop." In an interview with thelakersnation.com, Ron Ron said that he will honor MJ next season by wearing the #37. Huh? He explains:"I was trying to figure out a number, I was talking to my wife and kids," Artest told the website. "I was on my twitter, MySpace, and Facebook and asking everybody to help me pick a number. On my MySpace, somebody named Trish T he Dish came up with the #37 and said that Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' was 37 weeks at number one of all time. 23 I was going to choose, it was available, it's a great number but, I thought (with) that 37 and 'Thriller', I can make that a new great number. I think more kids should start getting the #37 for a great human being, since Michael loved all people. I think I'm representing greatness in wearing #37."
In addition to wearing the number, Artest also recorded a song in honor of Michael Jackson. Let's just say that anyone who gives the song listen will be left speechless. Check out the track and drop your thoughts.

I can't believe this. Michael J. Jackson, bought more to music than this. I didn't get past the first 20 words. This is not what Michael represented in music, so please Mr. Artest stick to basketball, and let Michael handle the music, their is more to come. Honor him by buying his CD when sony relieses it.

I truly concur with all the comments once I got past the bad language. The responses are consistent with the language Ron is using.
Why do we (Persons of Color) find it acceptible to reply to garbage with garbage.
I wouldn't want Ron to honor me if this is his best effort and I would ask that readers refrain from disgracing Michael by replying in such a vulgar fashion.
Let Michael and BAD honorariums RIP.
