More details are starting to come out about the murder of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and his 20-year old mistress Sahel Kazemi. According to the Associated Press, Nashville police believe that McNair was killed while he was sleeping. The evidence is leading investigators to believe that Kazemi shot McNair in the head while he slept on a couch, then shot him twice in the chest and then in the head once more. Before shooting herself, Kazemi apparently tried to position herself to fall on McNair's lap, but instead her body slid to the floor and lay at McNair's feet. The gun was found under her body.In interviewing Kazemi's friends, police found out that she was distraught over her relationship with McNair. One moment she was selling all her furniture thinking she was moving in with him and the next she was suspicious of him having another girlfriend. She was also stressed out because she was making payments on two cars, one of which she shared with McNair, and the rent on her apartment went up.
According to McNair's friends and associates, however, he had no plans to divorce his wife, Mechelle McNair, and they were actually looking for a new home. Since the shooting Mechelle has yet to speak publicly.
"Her faith is what's sustaining her now," Bishop Joseph W. Walker III of Mount Zion Baptist Church told the Associated Press. "We haven't talked about the circumstances of his death. She is processing it in a private way. It's obviously devastating on so many levels."
McNair's funeral is set for Saturday in Mississippi.

Whether Steve was cheating or not, he did not deserve to die in such a senseless, violent way. And yes he was a hero, becaue of his humanitarian contributions, his relief work for Katrina victims, the firt African American franchise QB from a HBCU, 1-AAA division school, a Heisman Trophy contender. He did enormous work for YOUTH and his community. HE MADE AN UNFORUNATE, FATAL MISTAKE. He's already paid with his life. Let those who have not sinned, throw the first stone. All of the judgement is incredible. I don't know anyone who is married who hasn't been cheated on by their husbands. It is an unfortunate reality, men do cheat. --I'm not saying all men cheat-- This 20 year old was woman enough to sleep with another woman's husband. When Steve began to realize she was a fatal attraction -- she had stalked him and his other female friend-- he began to pull away, and she became desperate. This was her own dellusion, Steve had no plans for a future with her. She realized the relationship was over, and decided to do a vengeful, murderous, "honor killing" to reclaim her honor. There is no justification for murder.

Hope you can find what you need on it.where any sort of public program is immediately called "socialism" by the Right Wing and all the corporate media nods their heads in agreement, but there it is. When more than 3/4 of Americans want to see a "public option" in the payment of health care costs, maybe it's time to re-examine the hoary old myth that there really is such a thing as a "free" market.
