Kimbo Slice Loses
In this week's episode of Spike TV's MMA reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter,' well-known street fighter Kimbo Slice took center stage in a bout with former IFL champ Roy "Big Country" Nelson. The match, which was supposed to be two five-minute rounds, lasted just a round in a half before the ref ended it. Why was the fight ended early?

Nelson had a 30-pound advantage at 264 and was able to take Kimbo to the ground in the second round. Nelson just laid on top of Kimbo for two or three minutes, throwing soft punches to the top of Kimbo's head. Kimbo did get a few strikes to Nelson's chin before being taken down, but he wasn't strong enough to get Nelson off of him.

"I fought Roy with caution. I did go for the kill one time, but I knew to be careful because Roy will bait you," Kimbo told the TUF Podcast after the fight at SpikeTV.com. "So when I thought I rocked him, I went in for the kill, and that's when I made my mistake. By the second round, he figured out how to get in. The first round, I was able to keep him at bay, but the second round, he played a little bit more of a possum, and he was able to get me down to the ground."

So what's next for Kimbo Slice? The show suggested that he may get a chance to fight again. There's also word that Kimbo will fight during the show's finale in December as an undercard. If he performs well, he may get a contract with UFC, despite not winning the show. In the meantime, check out clips from this week's fight:
