Police Identify McNair's Other Lover, Details of Final Day
This week, Nashville, Tenn., police released an updated case summary on the murder-suicide of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and his mistress, Sahel Kazemi. Police identified Leah Ignagni as McNair's possible second girlfriend. Ignagni told police that she believed Kazemi had been following her in the weeks before McNair's death. According to Kazemi's roommate, Emily Andrews, Kazemi knew about Ignagni.
According to the report:
Andrews said that Kazemi told her that [Kazemi] found a tampon in the bathroom wastebasket in the Lea Avenue condo, and on another occasion, saw a female leaving the condo.
Police are not saying that the relationship played a role in the incident.
The report also details the final days of McNair and Kazemi through text messages. Starting on July 3, Kazemi was texting McNair about how stressed she was and how she needed $2,000 to pay some bills. McNair confirmed to Kazemi that he transferred the money to her account.
Later that night, McNair texted Kazemi that after his kids went to sleep, he would head over to the condo they shared. At 12:52 a.m., McNair's last text message was "No, open the front door," and Kazemi responded at 1:14 a.m., "It's open."
McNair's and Kazemi's bodies were discovered on July 4 around 1:30 p.m. Read the entire report here.

I never understood the part of the text message where he asked her to leave the door opened and she said that it was opened, I mean wasn't he part owner of the condo, shouldn't he have had his own key? Why did she need to leave the door open for him? As sad as this situation was, he did this to himself. Both woman were young, and they did what young woman in that age group do. Lots of them seek out older wealthy ( knowingly married men ) then delusion themselves into thinking that just because they suck his dick bettter than his wife that he's going to leave. At least the 25 year old dumb behind mistress knew that he was there to play, not to stay. No one in this triangle is a victim, I was 20 and I knew married men were off limit, these young girls knew he was married, Trigger finger meet him at Dave & Busters' with his wife and kids so she definitely knew. Steve put himself and his family in danger by getting involved with these crazy ass women. Until women stop letting these men use them for sexual toys this kind of nonesense will continue. This woman did not love Steve, nor did she love herself, because love does not make you hurt yourself or anyone else you claim to love, Insecurity makes you do dumb stuff like what Steve, and his two mistress did. You should have enough love for you that if your spouse,partner, or whomever you are to that person falls out of love with you, you have enough self love to carry you through.
