This season of 'The Ultimate Fighter,' on Spike TV, has seen a huge ratings spike, thanks to one man: Kimbo Slice, the popular YouTube fighting phenom. Slice is a contestant on the show, in which fighters compete for a six-figure UFC fighting contract. Slice, however, lost his match to big-bellied MMA vet Roy Nelson in the third episode of the show. Still, whenever a fighter was injured, Slice has filled in.Season 10 is the highest rated in the franchise's history, averaging 3.6 million viewers and a 4.7 rating with men between the ages of 18 and 34 and a 3.8 rating with men between the ages of 18 and 49. It is also one of the highest-rated shows on television with 18- to- 34-year-old men. Slice should at least get a contract for boosting viewership, right?

UFC is using Kimbo like a freak show exhibit, see Fizzlebuzz.com story on the marketing angle.
