There are reports that Playgirl Magazine has obtained nude photos of golfing great Tiger Woods. The magazine says that the source of the photos is eager to sell and that they will consider publishing the pictures once they are proven to be authentic. Woods was recently successful in getting a British court to help him ban nude pictures of himself from being published in the UK. The court does not have the ability to stop such pictures from being published in the United States, though.
In case you've missed it, here are some of the latest developments in the saga of golfing great, Tiger Woods:
Tiger has announced that he will be leaving golf for an indefinite period of time. This came as a bit of a surprise, but it's not a big deal, since the golfing season is already over. The only question is whether or not Woods will miss the entire 2010 season. That would be a huge blow to the PGA Tour and a terrible hit to his ability to break the "unreachable" record of 18 majors set by golfing great, Jack Nicklaus.
AOL Black Voices members asked out loud whether it matters that Tiger Woods was spending all of his time with white women and chose to marry a white woman as well. Some black women seem to be offended by Woods' behavior and persona. Personally, I am not sure why any woman would want to be on Tiger's list of jump offs and porn stars.
A guest on CNN's Joy Behar Show accused Tiger Woods of behaving like a typical black male athlete. I was offended by the remarks, and so were many members of the AOL BV community. It's odd that when an athlete misbehaves, we can be quick to attribute his behavior to black men. The truth is that Tiger has never had much in common with black men and the black community has shown tremendous support for his achievements.
Tiger Woods' list of mistresses has gotten longer. I am not sure if we are at 11, 12 or more, but it's getting crazy. The most interesting thing about it is that this list only includes the women who are bold enough to go in front of millions of people in order to get a payoff. Many women would not be so open with their sex lives, so there could be many more behind the scenes.
This story isn't going to die before the end of the New Year. While I've always felt that Tiger should say something to the public, perhaps he doesn't have to. He's got plenty of money in the bank, and a recent poll stated that 91 percent of all consumers, in spite of Tiger's recent transgressions, would not stop buying goods endorsed by Woods. What does that mean? It means that Tiger is still going to make a boat load of money.

Plenty of women will be waiting at Tigers wife door to spend some of Tigers money not only men.

we would hope at this point in the game elin would rember why she lives in the style she does.(because her husband is a star)keep your chin up and go with him on golf tours.do you want to risk the whole ball of wax?he is not the first star to fall.pull up your boot straps and be proud of his career.lookig fprward to his return soon!

Please, Brothers and Sisters, lets not indict Tiger before all the facts are in. Let us not be guilty of the same techniques used against us. We should be aware of the fact that whether or not Tiger wants to be one of us, he is one of us. The other world wants to divide and conquer us. They have tried that for centuries and they always continue to do that. We just need to mind our own business, keep our thoughts to ourselves and think about how we are going to get out of the quagmire "THAT RACE" helped us get into. Let us fight THEM...not Tiger. Many Brothers badmouthing Tiget would JUMP at the chance of being with a "PINK TOE" when given half a chance. Why badmouth Farrakhan? He has tried to do what many Brothers won't do...stare down and talk back to "you know who." So Brothers and Sisters, those who are without sin or fault...cast the first stone. That's all, y'all.

Most men will give lip service to being outraged by Tiger's behavior, but I wonder if they will stop buying anything that he endorses as a protest to his adulterous behavior. I think not. Tiger is still the greatest golfer in the world. Everyone knew that Muhammed Ali was a filanderer, along with Michael Jordan, Majic Johnson, Jim Brown, and I'm sure the list goes on. It did not stop them from being successful in their professional lives, and I hope the same applies to Tiger. Let's face it, he was not raised in a traditional Baptist home. His mother did not drag him to church on Sundays. I have never heard him mention God or any faith related issue. He has not embraced those Judeo-Christian values. Now he must deal with what he really believes probably for the first time in his life. But in the golf world, he is still a god, and he will be back in a big way!
