It appears that even Tiger Wood's billions can't save his broken five-year marriage. As earlier reports of Woods' countless extramarital affairs surfaced, the golf icon and his lawyer hastily revamped his prenuptial agreement in less than 72 hours, immediately offering his wife a whooping $5 million if she agreed to stay.
Woods even stacked an additional $55 million to the prenuptial agreement if Nordegren stayed in the marriage for another two years.
Yet it appears that all the Benjamins in the world can't keep Woods' wife in the marriage, and now she wants out. People magazine reported today that Nordegren has hired noted celebrity lawyer Sorrell Trope and plans to file for divorce in California, the very state where she and Tiger share their second home.
It is also speculated that the reason Nordegren intends to file for divorce in California, rather than in Florida, where she and Woods are currently located, is due to the state's no-fault divorce law, which includes an equal division of property and assets.
This report surfaces a day after the Daily News reported Nordergren's plans to head back to Sweden with their two kids for the holidays, while Woods stayed at home to hang with "the boys." The fact that Nordegren has been seen without her wedding ring is only adding fuel to the fire and may imply the obvious: Perhaps she has had enough.

Elin will get half of Tiger's money (250 million + child support in the Calif court) despite the restructured pre-up.
I just hope that Tiger, despite his earnings was smart financially and after this divorce, has enough $$$$ currently to handle his expenses since before all this, Tiger was earning 100 million a year (10 mil playing golf, 90 mil in endorsements) he has a lot of known & unknown expenses: a privately ownned jet, a 22 million dollar yacht and 7 homes located throughout the world plus Uncle Sam in his pockets for 1/4 yearly.
Earned a billion dollars gross income. How much net worth income does he have?
Athletes tend to mishandle their finances, get bad advice and make bad investments. I hope that Tiger is not one of them since he lives the life of a billionaire on the extreme high-end as compared to other pro Black athletes.
And it seems that since this saga continues his main source of income, the endorsements are drying up.
He has lost two major endorsements (30 mil each) and three others are reconsidering their positions or scaling back on Tiger representing them and that was the bulk of his earnings.
Tiger continues to hide and until Tiger gets in front of this, stop running scared, man up and try to clear his name (if that's at all possible) the downhill slide will continue and once he returns to the golf course, the questions is: will he/can he still be the dominant player that he was and win (especially the first major tournment) under these changing personal circumstances in his life?
This is not the pre-Thanksgiving Tiger anymore, this is post-Thanksgiving Tiger.
Can he regroup and handle the pressure (especially on the golf course and off with all the haters) that about to be constantly shoveled upon him since he has not answered a single question up to this point.
The media wolves and fans will not be interested in his golf game (unless he fails), but his out-of-control personal life.

I'm in part agreement with 000zzzz, she would get what's hers anyway. I think tiger has to hit rock bottom before he sees a return to his former glory.Psychologically, he should see a therapist and handle his issues like a man. Maybe, he can repair his career.

I hate to see a divorce,however if he shows an unrepentant attitude about his infidelities,then its best to call it quits. She's still a young woman and could start over. He could be carrying the virus for all she knows.that would be a low blow for them both!.

I think we all would have 'understood' (if that is the right word) if there was a single transgression. Truth, there are way too many women coming out of the woodwork. How can ANY woman expect to stay in marriage with that type of baggage? Best of luck to her and the kids. Not every woman can be bought.

Nannies, Waitress, Bar maids and other low-income type of jobs.....if a BW had these jobs he would not even look at her as a possible mate.....
