Lawsuit: County Morgue Lost Woman's Body For 14 Months
The University of Minnesota spent a lot of time and energy trying to recruit Royce White for its basketball program. One of the top 20 basketball recruits, White, a 6-foot-7-inch small forward, was supposed to help the Gophers over the last hurdle to be a force in the Big Ten.Too bad that isn't going to happen. Back in October, White was caught shoplifting at the Mall of America. When confronted by a security guard, White pushed the man several times. He is now facing misdemeanor charges of theft and fifth-degree assault for the incident.
According to the Associated Press, White allegedly tried to steal a pair of pants and a shirt, shoved a Macy's security officer several times and then walked out of the store. He was later apprehended without incident by police, cited and forced to return the items, which were worth about $100. He's also being investigated for a stolen laptop that was taken in November.
White was suspended indefinitely. Apparently, he didn't want to wait around to see the outcome, so he quit the team. But the way he quit has people talking. Last week, White uploaded a 10-minute video of him roaming the streets of Minneapolis, probably reflecting on his life, to a Beanie Sigel soundtrack. Then he talks about the reported incidents, offering his side of the story and the stress it puts on his family. Check out the video:

I can't believe he would let them run him off. Not everybody that hangs around you is your friend. Your focus should be school and perfecting your god given gifts. They talked about Jesus too, remember?

Well said W.H.Forrest, may Royce find peace in accepting what he did, and understanding that God gave him a talent, do not waste it. May we all remember the truse meaning of Christmas. Are you kidding me! This idiot was given the chance of a lifetime - so many young minorities would love the opportunity you had - and you just threw it away. I haven't seen the video - don't want to because actions speak louder than words! You maybe should have thought out the consequences BEFORE the crime. If you were my son, I'd hurt you bad just for embarrassing me like that. Couldn't you get a J-O-B! Man, just can't take the ghetto out of the negro. So now, what???!! I agree, all he had to do was finish school and no matter if he made it to the pros or not he would of been set. Our culture puts more emphasis on "bling" and how you dress than we put on education. This is just another sad story of waisted talent and a example that we as a people need to stop listening to dumn ass rap songs that influnce our children to do stupid sh*t. We need to focus and tell our children the importance of education, you might not be rich but you can still live comfortable with a decent education.

RW in response to the allegations brought against you, remain positive. Please do not walk away from your education. Knowledge is Power. No matter how bad a situation may look through the natural eyes, is very small through the spirtual eyes. Trust me I know. I too have sinned and was forgiven not by man but by God. I was diagnoised with cancer,five surgeries in lest than a year, under God's Grace and Mercy he took it all away. Royce he will fix it for you too. Remember you are not the only person who have made mistakes. Keep your head up and keep smiling :):) God Bless
