Gilbert Arenas May Lose Adidas SponsorshipHopefully Washington Wizards' Gilbert Arenas isn't going on any shopping sprees because he'll need to save his money. He's already losing millions for his indefinite suspension without pay for bringing guns into the Wizards locker room, but it may get worse. Arenas signed an endorsement deal with Adidas back in 2003, and the relationship has been pretty successful. Now it looks like it's in jeopardy. With the recent controversy surrounding Arenas and the guns, Adidas is assessing its deal with the star.

"We are evaluating our relationship with Gilbert Arenas based on his recent conduct and subsequent suspension from the NBA," Adidas spokeswoman Lyn Famiglietti said in a statement. "We echo the commissioner's concern for such a serious incident and will continue to follow the investigation by the league and law enforcement."

Arenas signed an eight-year deal with the shoe company, worth $40 million. On the Wizards side, the team is removing any sign that he's a part of the franchise. According to USA Today, the team removed a huge poster of the baller from the front of the Verizon Center and stopped selling his jersey in the center's store.
