Venus and Serena both win matches at Australian OpenSerena Williams may be No. 1 in the world, but Venus Williams is letting folks know that she's pulling no punches in this year's Australian Open tournament. She easily took care of Lucie Safarova of the Czech Republic (6-2, 6-2) this week, and even though she's turning 30 this year, she sees no end in sight.

"I feel like I have so much left in my strings to accomplish," Williams told the Associated Press after the match. "I love playing. I want to win each tournament I play. I want to win the majors, play doubles and be in the Olympics."

But Serena isn't laying down anytime soon either. She won her first match of the Australian Open this week too, beating Urszula Radwanska (6-2, 6-1) in 1 hour and 13 minutes. At the same time, Serena extended her record of never losing in the first round of a Grand Slam Tournament, making her record 41-0.

"I said, God, I hope this won't be broken. It's my personal record. I don't know if it's any record, but it's my personal record. I want to just keep it up,'" Serena told CNN International. "This one means a lot to me, because I love playing in Grand Slams, and I love doing the best I can.

"To have an opportunity to have not lost yet in the first round of a Grand Slam -- knock on wood -- is really good for me. It's something I want to keep up the rest of my career. I hope that's not too much to ask."

The sisters are in different brackets in the tournament, so if they each win their brackets, we could have another All-Williams final. The finals begins next week.
