Mike Tyson is having a pretty good post-boxing career life. He has a successful documentary out, he's acting in movies and enjoying marriage. And he's keeping it moving by getting down with a reality show. Tyson recently appeared on the Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars" and isn't doing half bad. He didn't do much dancing in the ring during his boxing career, maybe he's making up for it now?

Mike looks as if he's having fun! His younger days were filled with betrayal, disappointment and controversy. Now he is just "chillin."
I couldn't help but smile when I thought about what his children and future grands will say about his dancing. They'll probably cover their eyes and say eewww daddy/grand daddy how could you, as kids feel that things like dancing were only meant for them.
I wish Mike Tyson much happiness.

I have always liked Mike Tyson, we are from the same neighborhood in Brooklyn. Most of the guys who grew up with him are either dead or in prison. Mike has come a long way, and I support him because; I am one of his biggest fans.

I was a true boxing fan that was broken hearted by Mikes fall from grace. So much so that I have not watched a boxing match since. Just remember, anyone deserves the opportunity to overcome their past and it looks like thats exactly what Mike intends to do. And as far as him not competing on the American version: a. Maybe he wasnt invited b. Maybe the Italians offered him more, after all he does have a family to feed. America does lag behind in forgiving some of our icons falls from grace. Peace Mike and God speed!

I'm surprised and happy to see all the positive comments about Mike Tyson. But I doubt seriously that the American version of this show would have invited him to participate. Even though I feel Mike was wrongly accused he was convicted and served time for rape.
I personally feel his downfall was marrying Robin Givens. She and her mother was just as much as a money grubbing vulture as Don King. Givens fed a lot of lies about Mike to the tabloids who had a field day portraying Mike Tyson as wild uncontrollable black man. Thankfully he came out of all that and seems to be more at peace with himself.

Why shouldn't he capitalize on his celebrity? He needs a paycheck and I respect him for continuing to try to work. He is not a real smart guy, so he cannot get just any desk job. He is a convicted felon, so that is also limiting his job prospects. Trainers don't make much money despite the success of some high profile T.V. trainers. So I say, "You go Mike, dance your but off, and I hope you win."

I can't believe they're giving him "10" for that performance. Master P did better than that. I guess theyre gonna keep him on the show for ratings and a laugh. I hope he's at least enjoying himself and spends the money wisely. When's Evander gonna be put on his dancing shoes? Looks like he needs the money too.
