Everybody Hates Ed Hardy Clothes Except Dwight Howard

The Ed Hardy Clothing line is a collection of shorts, jeans and accessories that carry images ranging from hearts and knives to skulls and dragons that are wrapped in mist, vines and flames. And while the clothing line is a successful and popular one, it's also associated with people who are considered annoyingly arrogant and obnoxious without being malicious. Don't believe us? Read about it here.

So for the most part, it's one of those hated popular trends but not for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard - the 6'11" baller signed an endorsement deal with the company.

"I'm a fan of the designs, and I feel blessed to be provided this opportunity," Howard said in a statement.

Howard just finished a photo shoot for an ad campaign that will be promoting the new additions to the line. The campaign will launch during NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas, with the line hitting stores this spring.

"Dwight embodies the Ed Hardy brand in its entirety; he's an original, dedicated to his sport, ambitious and self-confident, everything that the Ed Hardy line stands for," the company said in a statement.
