Tiger Woods' apology last week may have helped to smooth over some aspects of his infidelity, but not everyone is ready to take him back. Bob McDonald, CEO of Proctor & Gamble Co., told the Associated Press that the Gillette marketing campaign that featured Woods alongside Derek Jeter and Roger Federer will no longer feature Woods.
"He doesn't need to be distracted by us using his advertising, and we don't need the distraction of us using the advertising, either," McDonald told the Associated Press. Asked whether the relationship with Woods will continue, McDonald said, "I don't know ... we've got lots of great spokespeople."
Tiger signed on with the Gillette campaign back in 2007, but details of the length and worth of the contract have not been revealed. Endorsement contracts with AT&T and Accenture ended after the first few weeks of Tiger's infidelity hitting the wire.
On the other side of things, EA Sports continues to stick with Tiger. The company's successful game franchise, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, is slated to drop a new game in June. The franchise appears to be too valuable, second to probably the Madden franchise, to drop anytime soon.
"It was good to see Tiger address the public today, and we're supportive of his focus toward family and rebuilding his life," Peter Moore, president of EA Sports, told Kotaku.com last week. "He remains one of the greatest athletes in history, and as a long-standing partner, we look forward to seeing Tiger back on the golf course when the time is right for him and his family."

Everybody who drops him will eventually pick him back up, once all this cools off, just look at kobe bryant, he's more popular than ever, and what he was accused of was worse than what tiger did.

It is extremely hard for me to believe that Tiger Woods is truly sorry for whatever shame he has brought to himself and his family. When a person has to read an apology it's not real. It is not coming from the heart. I also feel that he should not have apologized to the public either. The only people that he should make amends to is his wife and his choice of family members. He should not care about sponsors that are threatening to drop him. All they care about is how much money he has cost them. He has countless millions of dollars and should consider leaving while he is on top. He can always open up an academy for less fortunate individuals and teach them how to play the game. He shuld ditch the wife and continue to be the best father a child could ever ask for.
