There has to be a line drawn somewhere when it comes to jewelry, doesn't there? In another story of a millionaire wasting exorbitant amounts of money, Boston Celtics guard Marquis Daniels is in headlines this week. Apparently Daniels commissioned the folks at Jason of Beverly Hills to make a diamond encrusted replica of his head to wear on a chain.According to Jason of Beverly Hills, it was made using a "3-D laser-imaging process that took place in the making of the face and head weighing in at over 1,300 grams of 14k gold. The flawless black, white and cognac diamonds encase a set of life-like porcelain eyes, similar to those used in Madame Tussauds' wax museum figures."
We're not sure how much the piece cost, but we suspect it has to at least be in the six figure amount if not in the seven figure amount. Oh yeah, Haiti is still struggling, Americans don't have jobs and folks in Africa need food and water. Not that we would tell a man how to spend his money, we're just saying. Check out the video of the making of the chain:

I totally agree. I can only contribute a small amount. I wish I could do more. But the NBA and NFL players could help a whole lot and contribute at least a million each. It sad to hear people waste there money on things and there are people starving and don't have clothes. Some just don't believe in giving back at all.

Smh, Hope this doesnt become the new trend of rich black people...I remember meeting Dante Culpepper in a club once and he had a diamond incrusted hot pepper around his neck. For some reason I was so embarrassed for him.

If he's spending money like that, I predict he'll be broke in 10 years. You'll be able to buy this necklace on Ebay!!

These athletes are so young when they are given contracts making millions of dollars and they don't have a clue on how to manage it. It should mandatory for every young professional player in any sport to take and pass a money management course before recieving their first big paycheck. If they don't pass the course, their money will be put into a trust fund and the athlete must repeat the course until he scores a passing grade.

What a waste of loot!Daniels must be seriously insecure!Professional sports is full of ignorant Negroes, purposefully selected, for profit and entertainment! Promoted as the "cream of the crop", the "professionals", if they are anything, they are mostly professional pussies! These sons of bitches don't even visit the neighborhoods that nourished them! Instead, they are pimped and prostituted around racist upscale Gothic,White Nationalist children for autographs, or even to be spit upon! It's all "league business"!
Bunch of spineless dogs! I don't spent one moment watching these diamond pigs on the field or court! They're not worthy of any thinking rebel's precious time! That money could be spent to buy some poor kid clean clothes and pretty shoes to wear to school, if they're bless to have a roof over their head and food to eat!
So we see! The black professional athelete is a tool and slave for corporate dollars and his NFL dad!

Its an investment. It would be worth a whole lot more after his NBA jobs ends if he could play
basketball.

WOW WOW you these guys can just as easy set up scholarships for young black students across the country. But instead they throw away money on what they think is a necessity. Its not just pro players of different sports, but actors, singers, and rappers the very people who without these poor black kids buying their shoes, albums, and movies would in other wise be broke and homeless.WOW HOW SAD TO SEE SO MANY FORGET WHERE THEY COME FROM.
