Hot shot ex-baller Alvin Robertson is facing charges of child sexual assault, trafficking of persons under 18 for prostitution and the forcing of a sexual performance by a child -- all felonies. The former San Antonio Spur was arrested in Arkansas and taken in to custody on Friday.
According to police files, Robertson was part of a ring, one of seven people, which also included an R&B performer, who allegedly kidnapped a 14-year-old teen girl and forced her in to prostitution and stripping. Robertson was the last ring member to be arrested.
The investigation of the perverse sexual ring began last April, when the young girl saw a police cruiser in Corpus Christi, Texas, and waved it down. The child told authorities she had been kidnapped from her city, San Antonio, forced to perform sexual favors with countless men, given a false ID and made to strip at various clubs. The girl's parents had actually reported her missing.
Lead Investigator Deputy Ino Badillo states that the girl managed to get away from one of her alleged kidnappers, Leslie Campbell, 49, who last month pled guilty to child sexual assault charges. Deputy Badillo also contended that Robertson is believed to have had sex with the girl but also described him as a "facilitator," which means he was involved in forcing the girl in to prostitution.
Police records further reveal that the teen victim was not only able to identify all of her abductors but could direct officers to all of the locations where she had been taken.
To make matters worse, Robertson's girlfriend was also hauled away Friday by police. Forty-one-year-old Raquel McIntosh was charged as well.
Robertson, who still holds the top career steals-per-game average in the NBA, is certainly no newbie to arrest. He seems to have been involved in a litany of crimes throughout the years ranging from domestic violence to burglary to rape accusation to criminal mischief. The list goes on.
The former NBA all star retired in 1996 after spending 10 seasons in the league.

Child molestors should be executed. The other option is to make them involuntary organ donors so society can benefit from this wasted sperm cell.

Yes, post it. Sexually molestation has no race, economic, and social boundaries. To many time we as black folks want to sweep this subject under the rug. Instead of protecting, and supporting the victimize child. Did you see Precious? These things really happen. The molester need to be exposed and punished. Stop letting your kids sit on Uncle Pokie's lap.

Amen to that Michelle; that includes santa too! You know how parents force their children to sit on some strange man's lap (to take a picture) all in the name of Christmas? Meanwhile, the child is clearly uncomfortable but Mom has to have that photo.

This does not look good. His publicist (if he still has one) or lawyer (if he can afford one) has not stepped forward. He has become a career criminal and as the saying goes, where this is smoke there is fire.
It always boggles my mind that people can find others to engage in wicked/unspeakable acts. How can someone even form their mouth to broach the subject with someone regarding using children for sexual favor? The devil surely knows when he is amongst friends.

Why report accusations? I do despise anyone who would violate/molest a minor. Reporting a horrid story about supposedly deviate behavior committed by famous and non-famous persons without knowing if it is factual, is not good writing. On the other hand if Alvin Robertson and his other cohorts are guilty, I feel they should be put to death. Before being put to death they should be subjected to the very same abuse that they forced on their victims. They should know exactly what it feels like to be violated by having every orifice on their bodies invaded. This torment should be administered by men, women, and beasts. It should be made into videos with the copy rights and all proceeds from sales given to the victims. I am very serious about this. Let the crime fit the punishment.
