Kim Kardashian's infamous 2007 taped sexual escapade with ex, Ray J, seems to have been ever present in Reggie Bush's mind. Online celeb gossip site X17online reports that the NFL New Orleans Saints running back dumped his longtime love, because his conservative mommy could not get past the tape controversy.
A source tells X17, "Reggie and his family are very conservative, and he told Kim that a marriage is never going to happen between them because of the tape."
It was widely reported earlier this week that Bush had split with Kardashian because of an alleged affair with January Gessert, a Calabassas, Calif., waitress. Now news sources are now doing an about-face, stating that Gessert has actually been in a six-month relationship with Bush's assistant.
There are also reports that Kardashian is having a hard time with the breakup, but that Bush is livin' la vida loca. Bush apparently has a circle of friends who are single and who love to party, so sulking is not at the top of his to-do list.
An insider leaked a tidbit to E!, saying that Kim has been staying in Miami with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney. She has also not spoken to Bush since the breakup.
It ain't over til it's over, though. Kim still has "stuff" she has to collect from Bush's home. The couple also share a dog so....

His mother is out of order according to God's Word.
If Reggie allows his mother to interfere with his decision regarding who he chooses to marry is considered a MOMMA's BOY. Kim and Reggie needs Jesus in their life and need to keep their parents OUT of their relationship.
If either spouse fails to both leave and cleave, problems will result in a marriage. If spouses refuse to truly leave their parents, conflict and stress result. Leaving your parents does not mean ignoring them or not spending any time with them. Leaving your parents means recognizing that your marriage created a new family and that this new family must be a higher priority than your previous family. If spouses neglect to cleave to each other, the result is a lack of intimacy and unity. Cleaving to your spouse does not mean being with your spouse every moment or not having meaningful friendships outside of your marriage. Cleaving to your spouse means recognizing that you are joined, essentially “glued,” to your spouse. Cleaving is key in building a marriage that will endure hard times and be the beautiful relationship that God intends it to be

The Bible does say "...cleave unto his WIFE". However, at this writing, Kim is NOT his WIFE!!! And as far as his mom and others giving him advice, Proverbs emphasizes that getting wise counsel is prudent. Further, in James it says "If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God and He will give liberally." In this case, I believe God would agree with Reggie's mom!!!

If you are going to use the Bible as a reference, then we must remember that the parents gave their blessing before there could be a marriage - because it was usually arranged by the parents.

You are the ONLY person here making any sense. Amen. I was getting a lil frustrated reading these comments and was hoping someone had something that really meant something. Thank you for sharing and God bless. Without God, we dont have anything!!! Famous and non famous alike need to put him first in their lives, their relationships and most definitely their marriages. Well, Jesus forgave Mary Magdalen, a known sinner, for several sins, and she became a Saint, St. Mary Magdalen: More about this saint: St. Mary Magdalen (Feast day - July 22) Mary Magdalen was well known as a sinner when she first saw Our Lord. She was very beautiful and very proud, but after she met Jesus, she felt great sorrow for her evil life. When Jesus went to supper at the home of a rich man named Simon, Mary came to weep at His feet. Then with her long beautiful hair, she wiped His feet dry and anointed them with expensive perfume. So, I ask you....Would God agree with Reggie's mom and NOT forgive Kim for her PAST? Reggie knew about "The Video" before he started dating her. Yes he's hypocritical as someone wrote earlier, because he was wanting the same thing for himself, and for his "mom" to make a personal decision when matters of the heart are at stake, "mama's boy" might be appropriate as well. Kim has been called all kinds of destructive names on here, but the same could be said of Reggie, he doesn't get a free pass. So people, GET OUT THE WAY, AND LET GOD DO HIS WORK, unless you think you no best.

When I stated that "God would agree with Reggie's mon", I was referring to the book of Proverbs which clearly states to stay away from such types of women. Maybe you need to read the Bible in its entirety in order to get the FULL counsel of God!! I read mine every day!

Reggie is a GROWN MAN. God will not agree with Reggie's Mom because God is dealing with Reggie and Kim’s HEART and NOT his mother’s heart as possible husband and wife. Reggie and Kim will be the only ones who would have to live with their choice and not their parents. Like I said, they both need SALVATION. It’s time that these Jezebel mothers mind their own business. It’s ok to give advice which I’m sure she did during the earlier part of their relationship but ultimately it’s their decision.
Mostly importantly, REGGIE is no ANGEL. He is living a worldly WHORISH/SLUTFUL and SINFUL life just like Kim. Reggie’s Mom is holding her son up in his devilment and is being Hypocritical. Many mothers are a culprit for babying their sons and interfering with them making their own decision, that’s why we have a breed of Weak and Shallow men in this and previous generations. Mothers needs to stay out of their GROWN children lives and release them to God in prayer. Move out of God’s way. Everyone has a pass and should be forgiven for the bad choices and decisions they have made, including making a sex tape. God is merciful.
You quoted the scripture in James "If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God and He will give liberally." EXACTLY, let REGGIE asks God and not his mother since it concerns his HEART and not his mother.

Like the poster (SIMON) said, Mary Magdalene was a SKANK/WHORE/PROSITUTE too before she accepted Jesus Christ into her life and HE forgave her. (Reggie is no different; he too is also a WHORE living in SIN)
The scripture you are referring to in 2 Corinthians 6:14 does not apply to them because neither one of them are BELIEVERS who's living a HOLY and RIGHTEOUS life. The only way that scripture would apply to Reggie and Kim if one of them received SALVATION and became a Born-Again Christian then they would be unequally yoked. Even Christians must consult God about the person they wishes to marry; God will either give them a yes, no or wait. Since they are not, then both of them are living in Darkness and on their way to HELL.
Reading your bible is one thing but understanding it with deep wisdom and knowledge of God and the Holy Spirit is a total different REALM.

Reggie, Mother knows best. I'm sure she would like to have some grandchildren some day and to have offspring with a known nationality means alot. It takes a wise man to not only listen to but respect the women that gave you life. Always remember your mother is the first teacher, that's why they know best. I wish you well in your endeavors, you are a nice young man and enjoy life and stay focused on your career.
