"None of these girls are allowed anywhere near him," a security guard told the Sunday Mail. "If one photo comes out of a beautiful lady touching him, it would be a disaster."
There are going to be approximately 200 security personnel on the grounds already, with another 82 private guards being added in response to Tiger's return. The Sunday Mail says that a source revealed that there will be eight guards surrounding Woods as "the last line of defense."
The most gold-digging of Woods' mistresses is porn star Josyln James, who has hired famed attorney Gloria Allred. She has also slowly and strategically rolled out text message and e-mail conversations she had with Woods' team over the years. She has spoken publicly about possibly coming to the Masters to demand a confrontation with Tiger, which his security guards are there to help him avoid.
The Tiger Woods' scandal is going to hit a high point this week, as Tiger is preparing to give his first real press conference on Monday. Additionally, while the Masters organizers may behave as if this situation is a nuisance, the truth is that they are licking their chops. The return of Tiger Woods to the Masters tournament is going to be a ratings bonanza for CBS, Augusta National and the PGA Tour. Tiger is the meal ticket for professional golf, and if he shows up and has a great tournament, millions of dollars are going to be made.
With regard to the long list of mistresses who are waiting to ruin Tiger's moment in the sun, he should realize that he asked for it. It's one thing to be a cheater and another thing to be a cheater who spends his time with porn stars and other women who are willing to tell their dirty business to the public. I was never in agreement with the idea that Tiger was a sex addict, but a high-profile family man who creates such a mess for himself and his family obviously has some "interesting" issues. As I said before, Tiger should never have gotten married.

REALISTICALLY SPEAKING,
TIGER REALLY DOESN'T NEED A SINGLE BODY-GUARD,
SO AS TO PROTECT HIM FROM ANY ALLEGED PAST MISTRESSES. (I.E. 0-0=0).
(MEANING, HE WASN'T DEALING WITH NOTHING,
TO BEGIN WITH).
HAVING SAID THAT - HE IS WELL CAPABLE OF GOING
OUT THERE THIS WEEK, AND THUS CONQUERING
"THE MASTERS", DESPITE ANY COMPETITION.
BELIEVE THAT!!
NOT ALLOWING HIMSELF TO BECOME DISTRACTED;
REMEMBERING TO BE AS YIELDING, AT ANY/ALL TIMES;
COMBINED OFCOURSE WITH A TEA-SPOON OF HUMILITY,
WILL CARRY HIM ENTIRELY.
DO WHAT YOU KNOW BEST "BROW", BEAT THEM ALL AT THEIR OWN GAME.
IT'S THAT SIMPLE, A MIND, OVER MATTER.

I am so sick of hearing all about Tiger and his mistress. I did not watch golf until Tiger came along. I watch now whenever he is playing. LEAVE HIM ALONE PEOPLE. I don't care what he did in him PERSONAL LIFE. He is the only one that has to answer to GOD, not me not you or anyone else. I hope he wins the Master's. Go Tiger

The use of 90 bodyguards to protect Tiger from 16/17 women?
Not only is Tiger Woods a sorry azz, morally bankrupt liar & cheat. He is also a scared p*ssy & a coward.
What exactly are they protecting him from? Skanks in the gallery? Ho's in the bushes? Mistresses hanging in the lobby & outside his hotel room?
These women are pissed & aren't trying to physically (some may yell at him) harm him by attending the Masters, this is all about pubicity and on-air camera time for them in order to extend their 15 minutes of fame in order to cash in.
Tiger is not the President so why does he think that he deserves to be treated like one? This is just crazy & stupid. Tiger and his team have hidden, run away, manulipitated & lied throughout this entire situation from day one and now, as a last resort, they fear these girls & hired bodyguards for protection from these women?
LOL!!!!
Tiger, IMO, is a bytch n*gger. He is a child; actually scared of the very women he bedded over & over again, lied to them and does not have the balls nor guts to actually face these people, set the story straight or just say to them that he was wrong & sorry for what he did. Tiger is a sorry MF in my book.
This has got to be some of the stupidest bs I have ever heard of and this guy is stupider that I originally thought.
Earlier on a previous blog about Tiger I said that this shiggity would happen at the Masters with Tiger, controlling & defining everything and someone said that the managers at the Masters tournment would not allow this type of stuff to happen.
At the end of the day, business trumps tradition. Shows how very little that blogger knows.

ooozzz, the jacka$$ Phd is quoting the London daily mail! It is just a tabloid, this is not real news or is it true. Where are these 90 bodyguards going to be, not inside the ropes, only the caddies can go inside the ropes. 90 bodyguards would do nothing and Tiger knows it, his gallery, like always, will be 15 deep and cover the hole he is playing and the next two. How will there bodyguards get through that crowd? Tiger will play with 2 other big name players and when this happens, all a patron can hope for is to see one or two shots he hits. Any badge holder who scalps his tickets this year is crazy, if the person makes a scene and gets kicked out, that original ticket holder will lose the tickets for good. That ticket is at least worth over $100,000 over the holders life time. Something might happen, but it will be a really stupid move and the scene will last no more then a minute.
The cost will be much more then what ever price is gotten. He didn't kill anyone so I doubt there will be death attempts, so what could someone do, except make a Jacka$$ out of themselves? There is no business to be gained by making a scene.

blackbear72, our resident golf analyst. Whats up? Haven't heard from you conferring about anything else on this blog but I guess golf is the only thing that you seem to know about (at least in your mind)
You really wanna believe that the Masters has not altered one thing about this tournment since Tiger is competing, that everything is business as usual, no exceptions and Tiger is being treated just like everybody else.
Then why are all the security personnel at the Masters were given full lenght photos and personal data info, and have been instructed to be on the lookout, for and/all the women that Tiger bedded & cheated with?
It was reported by ESPN that a woman who asked if she could ask Tiger a question was stopped by security and she was asked the question, "are you a stripper?"
So security, specifically tasked for Tiger's protection, is there.
Why was the press conference that was conducted yeaterday was once again done in a controlled & timed manner (35 minutes) with only 34 questions being asked? Why didn't Tiger just give that press conference without time limits or limited questions or conduct it outside the Masters venue without the protection of the Masters?
The tournment has not started yet. It's just practice at this point.
You fail (or you're turning a blind eye) to see that Tiger is a sacred little boy who wants & needs to be protected & guided at all times and does not have the nerve or guts to face the real public (including golf & tabloid) on his own without the "negoiated setups" because he would, on his own, have to take the no holds barred, hard hitting remarks & questions without a safety net to catch him the way the Masters and his team of handlers are doing right now.
As I stated before, business trumps tradition, especially at this Masters and Tiger, the #1 player, the cash cow, is being coddled & protected. So you hold on to the "written in stone" basic values of the Masters and what you have experienced in the past but the 2010 Masters, who will make more money with for this tournment that it ever has in it's history, is just a little bit different.

oooozzzz, glad to see your happy to hear from me. but you never explained how the Masters will make more money this year then ever before. The waiting list for tickets stopped in 1978 only to open for a very short time in 2000, so this years event was basically sold out in 1978. Attendance is limited, food and drinks at the Masters are very cheap none of this will go up weather Tiger is there or not. No one will buy more merchandise food or drink becasue Tiger is there and the only place to buy any merchandise, except the Master program, is in side the gates and there will be no extra patron this year. There is no advertising inside the Masters, no corporate tents, parking is free (in the last few years the Master has bought land around the club and turned it into parking, which is free). CBS and ESPN telecast the Master and the contract was already in place for this and advertising during the weekend is limited to 2 minute every hour. Where is this extra money coming from? I will give you the fact that security will go up a little, but not much, but that is an extra cost for the Masters. What exactly can someone do to Tiger at the Masters? It will never get on TV if it happens and the video will never be released, if nothing has happened yet it most likely wont happen.
If the Masters wants to make more money, which isn't the main concern of the tournament, they could do many things. Parking $0 to $25, increase attendance by 10,000, practice round ticket from $25 - $30 to $60, tournament tickets from $200 for the week to $500, sodas from $1 to $4, food from $3 to $6 all merchandise increased by 25% and sell it online and putting the TV contracted out for bid. All this would still be comparable to other sports events and would increase revenue by millions.
The people who run and make money off the Masters are some of the richest men in America and the Master is a living tradition for them not a unlimited money maker. If they changed these thing it would change the whole sprite of the Masters and they will not do that just for a quick buck. They also are not afraid of Tigers mistresses, I think they can handle it with little effort.
One more thing they could do, suspend all prize money. I guarantee no one would skip the Masters becasue there was no prize money!
I am a expert on golf, especially the Masters, I respond to you trying and get the truth out about this great event, whether Tiger is pu$$y or not I really don't care about.
Again tell me what Masters tradition will be trumped becasue of business!

blackbear72, I noticed how you side stepped the security question by saying "I will give you the fact that security will go up a little, but not much,”
Good one. You should be a politician.
Where is this extra money coming from? From TV ratings, which will generate millions more this year for the Masters organization than all probable increases in sales from vendors, ticket prices and parking.
Tiger's story is a major factor at this year's Masters Tournament and Tiger, along with the tournament, will be covered this year (every little detail) more than usual this year by all the contractual obligated TV networks (CBS & ESPN) due to the re-emergence of Tiger Woods.
The first two rounds, ESPN on Thursday and Friday while CBS will televise the tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
And both the networks & the Masters organization
knows that those” fringe” people will be watching for something and in today’s society, that “something” sadly, has become the “new normal” and those viewers equals increased ratings and more money.
Both CBS & ESPN anticipates some extraordinary ratings from those outside "curiosity seekers" (the people that you don't like) and especially for CBS, if Tiger is still in contention during the weekend, particularly for Sunday's final round.
Those contracts which you said "was already in place" are limited partner contracts (all sports & the networks has this relationship) that share revenue between the parties involved (in this case, CBS & ESPN) based on accumulated viewer ratings which in the case of this year's Masters will be larger this year because of the boost by Tiger.
The TV networks carrying the tournament and the Masters organization, will share those increased percentages of those increased profits & revenues from those “written in stone” agreements due to the increased viewership.
I had to look this up but according to a news source, Tiger Woods boosts ESPN's The 2010 Masters ratings by 50%.
ESPN's preliminary numbers are in and it looks
like TV executives' dreams are coming true.
The first round brought in a 3.6 metered market average, a 50% increase from last year (2.4) and up 80% from 2008 (2.0) on ESPN (DIS).
3.4 million People tuned in to the 2009 game, which was the biggest audience Augusta ever got. Nielsen's ratings are on the way, so we should see another record-breaking number.
Both CBS and ESPN were expecting Tiger to continue to bring in blockbuster ratings for The Masters. But as the New York Daily News reminds us, Tiger needs to make it through the rest of the rounds to stay on screen.

When Woods won the 1997 Masters by a record 12 strokes, CBS showed 66 of his 69 final-round shots and earned a 14.1 rating -- the highest percentage of U.S. TV households to ever watch a Masters final round -- and a whopping 34 share. The share is the percentage of televisions tuned to a particular broadcast.

You stated that “The people who run and make money
off the Masters are some of the richest men in America and it's a living tradition for them” ………but they are not stupid.
The numbers don’t lie and Tiger draws people who don't normally watch golf and this year will be more of the exception and both parties know this.
If TV execs are happy, then the "rich people" of the Masters Organization is happy and contractually, it’s more money in the pot for everybody.
